that's a good idea. it's much better to start with smaller ones to get familiar with the game. so many people start as deino and die of hunger or to cannis all the time and are wondering why the game is to tough. well, because you start as one of the most difficult dinos to grow with zero experience

yeah, healing can be time intense and boring. so, nice you enjoy your time otherwise you heal much faster by resting on land. honestly, I never actually stopped the time, but, it felt WAY more fast than to chill at the bottom of the river.
früher waren es nur ausgewählte tester, aber seit 2-3 updates kann jeder beim horde test mitmachen. du musst den horde test in den the isle steam settings auswählen. unter "betas", da wo du auch zwischen legacy und evrima wechseln kannst.
where do you spawn? south? because this area is brutally laggy all the time. at other places I have less lag. that said, the horde test server in general feels worse than the actual officials. that's for sure.
@@Bluejay-z6i the problem is, most other places are pretty empty. somehow 90% of the people are south and southwest ^^ dibble got a new spawn zone at the swamp tho. so, recently have been at least some deinos and dibbles there.
the isle will be in development for many more years. so, plenty of time to get yourself an PC and the game before it will be finished. till then, as later you join as better will be the experience ♥
as gcferr said, there is a swim speed mutation. which is probably the reason for the higher jumps. or they just changed it in general. can't say for sure tbh
@@da.mombie oh mean i played this game long time ago and you could choose any dino but they were all adults, and when you were dead you could spawn as adult again there werent babies. After they divided to survival and sandbox. sandbox was same as the old one, you could play as adult dinos and there wasnt a progression

@@yagmuraydemir8809 well, it depends on what you are looking for. if you mainly want PVP, then it's probably rather frustrating. the grow time got even raised meanwhile and if you don't have much time and want to fight most and foremost, then I would recommend to wait till they add the sandbox servers.

Idk if there's a mutation specially for higher jumps, but It can be influenced by the swimming speed mutation
