- we discovered a new mutation. which was even quite useful in our situation. other than that we found an awesome spot to ambush and got a kind of karma XD

Not sure if that 2nd mutation you picked would be all that useful but well done finding it. I can't remember the last time I broke my leg(s) on a Herrera. I would imagine taking less damage from animals that are bigger than you, would be one of the must haves, along with the fall damage height increase. It'd be so awesome if there was one where a certain height pounce would pin the prey as well if it doesn't outright kill it.
thx mate ♥ yeah, I dunno why, but I was so certain that herra doesn't take any damage as long as you hit the prey. but, I guess I mixed that up with the stun we had before. anyway, I was pretty surprised to die there but, somehow it's also funny imo. at least I can laugh about my stupidity

Herrera ist zur Zeit mein absoluter Favourit und eine richtige Killermaschine wenn man ihn erst mal Zeit gibt sich zu beweisen.
sag mal, war da nicht was mit wenn man sein opfer trifft, dann nimmt man keinen schaden? oder geht's da nur um benommen (stun) sein?
@@da.mombie Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher aber ich meine im Video war die Hitbox quasi nicht korrekt. Das selbe hatte ich mit nem Juvie Croc welches über Land ging. Ich ging voll auf den Kopf aber keinerlei Reaktion. Nur das ich nicht zu hoch war. Wie das jetzt mit Fall Schaden und dem Warn Symbol aussieht weis ich auch nicht.

I don't think so. specially the south plains are terrible laggy on the horde test. that ain't fun. I also played already quite a lot at the south beach recently. so, I want to play at and show different places

I killed a raptor in the mud pit at water access and had same problem, can’t eat it in the mud. Have to take bites. Edit: I like that your taking herra to different parts of the map, it’s too easy to just sit at south plains and camp all the action, more fun to move around, makes the hunt more satisfying!
yeah, I loved the south plains when the hot spot was in the east. meanwhile it's terrible laggy there and in general I would love to play every session at another part of the map. for me and also for the videos. but, many places are often empty and so I mostly have to return to the hot spots. a video without other players is boring as more I am happy when I actually met other players somewhere else, like in this video
@@da.mombie I hear you man, I am a content creator and I literally think the same thing, would rather move around the map but have to go where the action is for the videos. My last vid was herra and I actually got kills in almost every spot, was a nice change
@@LeBaked yeah, but to be fair to our audience, I also wouldn't be interested in videos of someone just walking empty places
@@da.mombie yeah I agree. Hours of game time for us can be edited down to a 15 minute video of just the action/highlights. I mostly do pvp highlights but I know your videos are more of a story which I like a lot, you show your raw experience more or less, deaths and bloopers. Keep up the good work

@@da.mombie Yea that's fair, though I wouldn't have risked it tbh. Should have slid down a bit so it no longer shows broken bone, you'd still do the maximum amount of damage.
@@da.mombie The broken bone means you should only break your leg. Death has a separate, red symbol. That had to be some weird bug.
@@pineapplepizzasandwich1974 Never seen any red symbol, from my experience the broken bone means the fall is high enough to break your leg and possibly kill you.
I have a trick for when that ptera attacks you, hold ctrl so you glide down the rock

I didn't know this one exists too. but, people told me this mutation is not new anyway, to you, me and some others it was new yeah, I think I would have killed the dilo if I was adult. I really didn't expect to die there ^^

I’m confused how that new mutation proved useful, since you didn’t get any fractures in the vid. Does it also give you more food gain from bones?
if you eat bones, then you have a pretty high chance of vomiting within the next 3 minutes after eating. I was quite lucky not to vomit after I ate the first bones. but, I also ate very less of them, so, maybe that's why. anyway tho, this mutation allowed me to eat bones without vomiting at least.

Anyone got any tips for a first time PC player on Herrera? I'm practicing mouse and keyboard but my mouse is so sensitive I can't jump on trees efficiently. Do I just practice more or get a different mouse?
what mouse do you have? what brand? because many of the bigger brands as corsair, razer, logitech and so on have a software available. in those you can change the DPI (sensitivity). if you can't do it with a software of your mouse manufacturer, then you can also try the settings of the isle. you can try to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse there. it's in settings/controls/axis. but I recommend the software of your mouse manufacturer if possible. as they work way better in my experience
