Gotta love the old sneakers wading the creek in the summer trip 💪🏻. I love the green sunfish….they are really a beautiful fish. What a creek beast with the smallie at 8 minute mark. Great catch brother 👊. Nice multi species day on the water!
Was fishing there on Sunday, may 30 2023. I caught a really nice smallmouth, 16 1/2 inches, probably 100 yards up stream from the bridge at the valley green inn. I was throwing a 3 in swim bait. I never thought it was worth it to drive up there but man, I’m going up there every chance I get now. Small mouth are my favorite to catch. Hard fighting fish.
