Nice project for the new cutter. I hear you on hidden obstacles when it's thick brush. Yep, not fun to whack a big rock! Thanks

Thank you! Besides the really steep terrain, I had to be careful not to fling mower debris at their house. Didn't want to break any windows 😂

LOL, I cannot confirm nor deny if my face ever met the front windshield!

A lot better than a portable string or blade trimmer!

Hi Chris, Great job, when it was grown up it was very deceiving, looked flatter than it really was. I think you had the right tools for the job. Thanks for taking us along

It was definitely steeper than I thought it was going to be, and the big drop off at the bottom wasn't helpful either 🤣

That would work great for ditch lines too

Looks like that mower/excavator combo does a good job, really made short work of that steep area. Should be a very desirable service to add to your business. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

That is very steep Chris, glad you manage to cut it, but with your experience it is a safe job

Looks like fun, always is when you don't expect what you get into..
Thanks for the video Chris! Machine works pretty good 👍😎

Man yeah, you did amazing on that slope!! Been there a few times myself in the past, things never seem to be as they appear!! That cutter works amazing, we have a huge flail mower for my 80 at work, but it's so heavy your.can really even swivel on the table with the boom extended. When they bought the 057 they got a smaller more machine suited mower. Mine doesn't get used much anymore since 🙏 I so love the before and after pictures sir!! Awesome job!! Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to more!!😁👍

I wasn't 100 percent happy with how it turned out but given the conditions it wasn't too bad. That's what makes it tough for sure when working on a steep slope- the weight of the cutter head. Thanks 🙂

Is this suitable for grassed banks/areas? Instead of strimming by hand, this is an option I'm considering but I'm unsure how good of a finish it would give on grass? Similar to strimming it?

I sure like that brush cutter you have on the boom. I think it's doing a great job. Thanks for talking us through what you're doing as you go. It gives us an idea of what we're seeing vs what you're seeing at the job site. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine week. 👍🏽🙂

My problem is I am used to having a bucket on to help maneuver the machine on steep ground 😂

Rugged country. I know your area somewhat. Scenic, but tough to work.
    Thanks Chris.

If u would come down from the top an have the cutter in front of u u could sit cutter down an that would stop u from sliding,an u cut crossways ,don't have tracks facing down hill

Way too steep for my comfort zone Chris. That stuff just keeps encroaching on the property. Once it gets started, I know of no way of stopping it do you? Have to say you did a great job.

Regular mowing is the only way to keep it under control. I think it had been many years since they had it done. Thanks Dean!

Hi Chris, I have a mini ex and was curious what size your machine was as well as what mower you are running.

It is a KX033-4 and a 36 inch wide cutter. I did a video on it when I first got it if you want to go back and see more about the cutter. Thanks for watching 🙂
