Really great information!!! I kept getting distracted by the webcam FPS getting from -5 to 3 FPS lol. I assume you are doing the capture over the playing video, I would possibly try a GPU encoding method, since it looks like the playback resource is hogging all the CPU, or possibly changing the from a wifi camera to a cheap wired webcam for improvement. Just thinking that it could get to others, and missing out on a like or subscribe.
Thanks yeah I’m streaming as you mentioned and the computer is inexpensive so likely as you suggested. Can you link an article on the GPU coding method
@@HowRadiologyWorks I guess I should have inquired what software you were using. I recommend obs, even on some of the slowest hardware it can produce good results with the right settings. Maybe try USB instead of WiFi for the camera.
@@HowRadiologyWorks In OBS Output>Recording settings...... Does video Encoder have an options for "Hardware" ?/ Like QVS,NVENC,AMD??? This would offload encoding to the GPU, with a small amount of quality loss. Also, because of the content, you should be able to Video> Common FPS Value = 30. This will also reduce loading. Disabling preview on the OBS windows will also reduce resources, if you can talk over the existing video window. These are just a few idea, with the biggest results, there are still other small things to try, but give a start there. One other thing, would be to reduce your cameras resolution to 720p, if possible.
