Cause Thats the Background Melody , Supose to be a LEAD Vocal there too. The background and Lead combined give the well known result . But when Coverdale doesnt sing his part ...eeuhh Yes it sounds ,,strange,,

Terrible! This was their worst lineup. Tommy is a much better and more exciting drummer.
