I played it on the switch. It was okay for me. The graphics may not be better than the PlayStation version, but you have to admit, they do have a bit or some Gundam Breaker 3 graphics there. Besides, it’s my first Gundam breaker game.
Switch ver. Reminds me of gundam breaker 3 (not in a bad way) vs ps5 is a lot smoother and doesnt miss a single frame id probably get it on switch also. Have it on ps5 and love it
Im glad to see that switch runs pretty well mostly, i'd say frames is about 25 - 30 with some exceptions and the graphical difference between switch and ps5 isn't as much as i first thought.
Considering the team behind Breaker 4 has experience with the Vita, and the Switch is quite similar but more powerful, I'd say it's a great port. Looks good for the hardware differences, the fps difference is understandable as well. I've got both the Vita and PS4 versions of Breaker 3 and both are great... so I'm expecting the same for Breaker 4.
@@fillerbunnyninjashark271 It really wasn't, it had all the content from it's older brother, it looked similar (with lower texture resolution) and played exactly the same as the PS4 version. I have both, physical versions and I think the Vita port is quite good.
Did the same thing. Pre-ordered the PS5 version cause I've played GB3 into the ground. Once I heard it was getting a Switch release I jumped on it. The only issue I think I'll have is jumping from one console's account to another to unlock things. I'd be cool if you could share data between the 2 different consoles considering it's the exact same game and all.

I pre-ordered for switch a week ago. Doesn’t look like another mortal kombat situation here. Ps5 look better but ill be playing at work on my switch not worrying about ps5 version
On PS5 It's probably running 60fps at 1440 or maybe 4k even. There' wasn't' multiple modes for graphics so I'm not sure of the exact resolution.. Glad to hear I did well, thank you for the compliments ! Positive feedback means an incredible amount to me.. So are you a Gundam fan in general?
There's certainly some things i noticed on PS5. SSR, materials seem to reflect lights more realistically, better overall lighting in certain spots as well, higher quality textures and better geometry(maybe on that one). All that being said, I recommend both versions because they both look good.

I bought it on the switch, did the test, was so good I might get it on pc to xD ps the guy playing on switch doesn't play that well so you dont see switch peak performance ...

I was able to play both versions, Switch and PS4, during this Open Network Test. I already have this pre-ordered on Steam. Guys and gals please do yourselves the justice of getting this game on PlayStation or Steam. There is no comparison to the feel and how things look. There are details missing on the kit pieces on the Switch version. If you love going to the garage to fine tune and love painting your suit down to the last detail PLEASE get the PlayStation or Steam version. The Switch version also felt less responsive to button input. If the Switch is the only place you are able to play then by all means enjoy yourself! Or if that is the only place your friends are! I have an Xbox so I understand that feeling!

@@devilbringer1102 It's clearly getting less than 30fps and frame dipping on top of that. Textures look worse, animations are worse, effects on attacks are worse. You need to have your eyes checked
@@TylerSL92 Animations are the same, the fps is locked at 30 and it shows (hell even the devs and other sites confirmed it), the effects are the same, you just want to spread misinformation for attention ain't it?
I mean. If you're blind maybe. One runs a solid 30fps and the other runs at 60fps and this alone is a very noticeableand VERY obvious difference, texture quality and resolution is lower on the switch which is to be expected. On ps5 it will always be less blurry, cleaner and sharper in resolution
Honestly doesn't look as bad I was expecting. The 30FPS is a little disappointing but, that might get ironed out with the Switch 2 next year, hopefully

Comparing switch to PS5 is like comparing an ant to an elephant....useless. Until nintendo gets a clue and decides to catch-up a bit on the graphics/hardware front, there is no reason to compare any current-gen console to the switch.
Nintendo seriously should stop being such a burden to graphical improvement on console gaming We know they are still afraid of Gamecube's epic fail, yet it's better time to wake the fuck up and confront the hardware spec issues
I'm so pissed off this game isnt getting an xbox version.. I only have a series X and a switch, so I have to buy a seperate online subscription just to play the version with worse textures, worse lighting, worse framerate, worse online, and why? Because I want a portable version? No. Because companies are greedy assholes. This game would look great on xbox, and after SD alliance came out all I wanted was a game in that style on xbox that wasnt ONLY SD gundams.. I bet all the battle arenas on switch are going to be blurry textured barren wastelands, but hey, at least playstation stopped me from playing the game I wanted on my preferred system right?

Funny it runs pretty well on Switch as opposed to Iyuden Chronicle (or how that was), which is a 2.5d game.

I'm new to the Breaker series but i LOVED Gundam Battle Assault 3. How do they compare? Are the Breaker games similar or better?
This is a beat em up game which you can do a lot of customization a la Armored Core. Battle Assault is a fighting games.

@@Elratauru PS4 version ran at 60 fps, not sub 20. The Vita textures looked like PSP quality. 2 looked and ran better on the vita

I don't feel like this game has graphical power enough to have a big difference. It's just a little bit more pixelated and slower, isnt it?
