Hi Christian. Great video! Do you know the highest possible ground clearance on the GV70 lift gate? It looks nice and high from your video. I’d like to understand if it’s possible to stand under it. Thanks!

Hi Brad, Christian thanks you for your kind words. The highest possible ground clearance on the GV70 lift gate is 6'3". We just measured one in our showroom with a tape measure, from the floor to the underside of the lift gate when fully open. Hope this information helps.

Thank you, Sue. You are correct. There is a button to open the liftgate near the rear wiper, but we did not include it in this video because it is not part of the Smart Liftgate system.

I've a 2022 GV70. I have the power lift gate box checked under vehicle setting, yet when I approach my car with my key, the lift gate will not lift. Any troubleshooting thoughts/ideas?

Congratulations on your 2022 GV70! For the Smart Liftgate to operate, the vehicle must be locked, and the key cannot be within approximately 20 feet of the vehicle for at least 60 seconds. Please feel free to stop by anytime for a demonstration.

@@GenesisOfSouthBay Thank you! So when I leave my car and go into the grocery store, I have it set so that the car locks automatically. When I come out of the store and head towards my car, my smart lift gate should engage and open, correct? That's not happening. I'll stop by for a demo. Much appreciate.
