There was a q4 caught at Smith lake 2 years ago, and a 14 at Guntersville last year. Alabama is starting to put out some teens. Just wish we had a share lunker program like Texas

I fished Guntersville for the first time this year. I was clueless on that lake in all that grass. I had no idea how to deal with it. It was my first time dealing with grass since there isn’t much of it at all where I live.
Jake Reiss, a non-angler and the Alabama booksmith channel interviewer made his interview with author Monte Burke. Burke, a New York journalist published his book 'Lords of the Fly' about the pursuit of big fish in Florida a few years ago. It was an interesting interview between a non- angler, who found this book about big fish angling of interest. Monte explained how he wrote the book in such a way, as it could be read by the non- angler.

I think that's where alot young anglers mess up, the listen to , too much dock talk, and go by what other people says, what, and how you should be fishing. And they try master 100 techniques. Pick 3 out that u consistently catch fish, and master them 3. For me it's, spinnerbait, rubber worm, and I football jig. Yes I can drop shot, use chatterbaits, all cranks they make, but I'm way better with 3 I mentioned. Didn't mean write small novel, but proud of you Kyle!!!!! PS. Bandit still killing it!!!!! Where it all started, don't ever lose that boat!

Love the video Kyle. I've been laid up with shingles since October 7th and am about to go nuts. Almost over them, thank God and don't want to ever get them again. If any of your subscribers ever have their doctor advise them to get a shingles vaccination, don't be stupid like me and blow it off. No fun!
