I failed upcat and will be applying for recon sa UPM. Actually Civil engg talaga gusto ko pero gusto ko rin maging criminal profiler or something equivalent hahaha that's why nagparecon ako sa UPM first choice is behavioral science :))) sana makapasa sa interview/ranking ng upg :))) more power to ur vlogs!

im taking public health in california and its really interesting to hear the different requirements needed from different colleges here and then at different colleges in a different country! my school I didn't need ANY chem classes for my PH degree ( i took one anyways because i was pre-nursing before switching)

I'm a transferee to the university hoping that I would be able to qualify to the department of behsci since im really scared and nervous 😭🥺 but these tips motivated me and excites me to deal with the challenges 😭😭

Hi ate Joslin!!! I'm a little late to watch this video but I found it really interesting. I was always very curious about how humans act and behave and this course is the course I've been waiting for to watch. At first I wanted to pursue law but down the line I wanted to be a psychologist or therapist instead. And as you said in the video, you took this course and it can lead to careers such as a counselor or even head to a law field. This video is really helpful and very informative.
I'm currently studying in a foreign country and was always planning to study back there in the Philippines because we have great colleges that cater especially for law and psychology. I always wanted to go to DLSU but duh it's very expensive and my second choice of university is UP and I was so grateful to click on this video because it's what can help me understand more. This video is perfect.
But ate Joslin when you see this can you please tell us more about this course? Like, what subjects you're taking right now. I know you said you're taking sociology, psychology, anthropology and biology but you also mentioned about certain subjects that you have to take before you can study something. I got a little confused there.
And that's another problem I have, if I hopefully pass the UPCAT and decided on taking behavioral science, do I have a choice in what subjects I can take? Do the people there choose some subjects that are compulsory for me to study? I got a little confused in that part. It would be really helpful if this was discussed in a future video but if it's not, it's totally fine, I guess.

Ohh woow that’s tricky! My advice would be to look at the curriculum of both, so you know course you will enjoy more. You can still go Med naman with Anthro :) just take extra units of sci classes I think, para sa nmat review.

Hello! I am an incoming college student, passed UST with my dream course of BS Psych and l unfortunately didnt pass the UPCAT:( But I heard that there is a recon for UPM and I think my UPG actually met the cut? Though I am confused now because my dream is really to be a Psychologist but at the same time I don’t want to burden my parents enough to pay for my tuition in UST. Was wondering if me possibly taking BehSci will still allow me to be a psychotherapist/psychologist? Hope u answer:( THANKS SO MUCH
Hello! First of all...Congrats on passing UST!! Next, yes, BehSci allows you to take the Psychometrician exam, and is good for higher studies in psych. BUT if you really want psych, you may also recon for BehSci, get high grades for 1st yr (1.75 min average), then apply to shift to Diliman Psych for 2nd yr onwards. 🤗
Joslin Nicole omg thank you for answering! The Psychometrician exam is different from the Psychologist exam right? Are BehSci students allowed to take both naman po? And also take masters on Psych? Sorry if i have a lot of questions po huhu your video really peaked my interest in taking this course 😭

I'm currently enrolled in a engineering program but I suck at math so I thought shifting kaso my father kept on pushing me so........ I SHIFTED KASI CAREER KO NAMAN YON HAHA😂 bruh I can't imagine myself working unhappily baka sa dulo maging underemployed pako😂😂
1 week after this statement...... di ako pinayagan umalis. I tried to study abroad and all things went smooth naman nung una tas nakapasa nako sa exams and all tas requirements na tas eto ako ngayon di pinayagan kaya tinanggap ko na hindi ako papayagan. now I just trust what God plans for me kung saan ako papalarin netong course ko. thanks po ate sa word of wisdom nyo😂

kami tani ayy thankyouu poo opo med tech po takga ang balak ko sa college e since dream school ko po ang up tas wala silang med techh, public health nalang poo pero po ang dream course ko talga is med tech. Its veryhard to decide if dream school or dream course huhu

Hi dear!! Aww omg I feel u. I also wanted Psych when I was shifting. It focuses in a lot more aspects of psych. If you have a future job in mind, maybe you can weigh which course you’ll learn more. I went behsci cause I discovered I’m also super into socio.
