Hi sir ,very well explained👏 but i have a query - can i do masters in public health after pursuing my bachelor's degree in arts subject i.e geo , polity and eng.
So for MPH you must have done some Math and Biology courses in your UG degree. You can apply with arts or any other degree if you had some form of math and biology even the basics one. If you don’t have that, you can still apply and take additional courses in MPH. It really depends on univ to univ and case by case. So you must do proper research and must take professional help as it will streamline the process for you!!
Looking at your background, you can look into Healthcare Informatics to integrate CS with healthcare. You can also get into MPH in Epi or Biostats. I have done many admissions with similar profile. If you need any help drop me an email at connect@shirishg.com with your contact details and my team will contact you 😊
This isn’t the whole story someone who has worked for over 10 years in international organisations and published in reputable peer reviewed journals and active in policy area and advocacy- please talk to someone who works in public health
You should also post about people who have placed after doing MPH and what are current MPH career vacancies throughout world? Also are all MPH degrees from any country valid in all countries?

I was accepted to Temple University - social and behavioral health and George Washington University- Climate Health. Having trouble deciding. Any advice?
To help you choose Social and Behavioral program is good in general public health but Climate health is considerably new Program and can have great impact in future but Jobs are more in social, behavioral side for now. Climate health is like new and will grow. So do you want to get into something that is already established and common or you want to embark on something that is relatively new and exciting and can become very big in coming years. That’s the choice. I hope this helps
I'm doing my Master's in Public Health right now and I would recommend working in Epidemiology, communicable/Infectious disease control, or even Biostatistics. Also ask yourself if you wanna work in creating the evidence or implementing the evidence that affects policy
Hii, I want to do MPH in future but I have just completed my 12th and I am confused whether I should do BPH or nursing before MPH. Will you please help me + Thank you so much for this information ❤️
Either degree is good for MPH depends on what you want. Here's a brief comparison to help you decide: 1. Bachelor in Public Health (BPH) - Direct Relevance: This degree will provide you with a solid foundation in public health concepts, research, policy, and administration, which aligns directly with an MPH. - Flexibility: It offers a more generalized approach to health care and public health policy, making it suitable for various roles in public health. - Career Opportunities: Even without an MPH, you can work in government, NGOs, healthcare organizations, etc. 2.Nursing Degree - Clinical Focus: If you are interested in the clinical side of healthcare, nursing provides hands-on patient care experience. This background can provide a unique perspective if you later move into public health. - Licensure and Certifications: Depending on the jurisdiction, nursing may require specific licenses or certifications. This path may lead to a more immediate career in healthcare. - Specialization: Nursing can be a pathway to an MPH, especially if you aim to focus on community health or health education. In my opinion, your decision should align with your interests and career goals. If you are more drawn to policy, research, and broad healthcare topics, BPH may be the better choice. If hands-on patient care, clinical experience, and a potential immediate career in healthcare are appealing, then a nursing degree may be preferable. Either path can ultimately lead to an MPH, so consider what subjects and tasks interest you most in the short term. Hope this helps :)

Simply put, Mha is like MBA in healthcare. MHA graduates can become managers at healthcare center..may become CEO too in the given future.
