  • In this instalment of my musical, "Princess Xao" the Emperor is hasty and desirous to make an example of Jinn Ho for embarrassing him and cheating him out of the dowry by planning to execute Jinn right there in the throne room! The Princess handmaiden rushes to warn the Princess. Councilman Teng also tells General Cheng, the leader of the Council of Nobles, that the Emperor refuses to read the petition that was sent to him earlier.
General Cheng is horrified and angry that the emperor would be so petty as to want to execute the young Jinn Ho and refuse to even consider the noble and capable QuiGon as heir to the throne. Genral Cheng warns the Emperor that if he goes ahead with the execution the people and the nobles will turn on him and their will be civil war! The people are also furious and demand that the Emperor free Jinn Ho.
The Princess and General Cheng give passionate reasons for the Emperor to choose QuiGon, the High Advisor, as his heir. The people demand that the Emperor accept QuiGon as his heir. The Emperor reluctantly yields to the will of the General and the people. The Emperor reminds QuiGon that he still has the upper-hand in this situation. In order for The Emperor to consider QuiGon as heir he must show himself worthy by defeating the Emperor's royal guard in mortal kombat!
This was a challenging scene to do. There were many characters in the scene and the file size was large and slowed down the program a lot. This is a pivotal and important scene in the series. I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed putting the music and scene together! Cheers!
