It was my birthday yesterday and got 200$ in birthday money and I’ve been wanting a board for so long so I’m going on Saturday to zumiez cause that’s the only “skate” shop I have . Ps imma build the board and this is my first time getting a skateboard
A couple of people have mentioned that I did not buy hardware. Like most trucks, the ones I "bought" in this video came with their own hardware. I talked about it when I recorded this video, but seemed kind of boring when I was editing so I cut it out! -zach
I got a 100 dollars for my birthday and I went to my local shop and got a blank deck, mini logo grip (cuz that was the only one they had),owlsome trucks, blank wheels, and bones reds!
How come I never hear a mention of a blank? Ive gotten a couple decent ones for 20 or less. No graphics, but that also means no graphic to fuck up. Edit: I commented before the end of the video.
Forgot about hardware. a beginner who’s after a affordable setup such as this isn’t gonna have hardware lying around so basically add +$5 to your end prices
It depends on how much you ride it, what you are doing, and a few other things. Mine typically last 2-3 months, but I also ride about 4-5 times a week.
Skate warehouse has supper good deals the recent had completes fir 40 buck witch is crazy elent does the same thing skate warehouse also have sales on truck and wheels
I just bought a subway surfer and tony hawk signature series "long" board for kids who didn't ask for skateboards, cant you just replace the bearings on a shi##y board and improve it 90%, that was my theory, for beginners who don't know anything about skating. Merry Christmas broseph.
Walmart boards are good if you replace the:
Berrings,
Wheels,
Grip tape,
Deck,
Hardware and
Trucks
So basically everything?
It was joke :(
yeah if you do that they are realllyy good. idk why people hate!

I feel like you’d do a great history of skateboarding video! Got the voice for it for sure!! Love the videos🙌
That's the plan for this winter, when I can't get out and skate! Stay tuned! :)

You explained excellently. Bravo!
Glad it was helpful! 😄 Thanks for watching!
My go to for a quick cheap board is the element completes for 99 bucks
I got a globe g2 complete on sale for 57€. Sick board, good tensor hollow trucks and harder 101a 53mm wheels etc. Couldn't be happier.
completes can also be a good option depending where you get them from

What about hardware!?
How long do decks usually last?
It depends on how much you ride it, what you are doing, and a few other things. Mine typically last 2-3 months, but I also ride about 4-5 times a week.
dude you rock the 7.75..niiiiice.
7.5 was the ticket till they discontinued it.

no hardware??? thanks for the tips Pikachu
Blank boards on skate warehouse are $30 as well.
I have a wallmart skateboard and it sucks so imma try this out
Thx this will help me buy a board
What about skate warehouse
what about hardware?
usually comes with trucks
but if it doesnt get some good quality hardware
If i break just one of the trucks, I’d need to buy just one truck
When honey sees this ok I’ll send him a sponsor review
good video
Unfortunately my tia only lets me spend 40 dollars on one thing
But I might just start gradually building a board
@@zeck2464 buy the deck first and build around that.
@@hw.lds08 I actually got a really good deck for 70 with truck and all
Hardavare ?
The trucks come with hardware
I wouldn’t build a super cheap board. $95-$130 u can get a real decent board. $120-$130 u get a really awesome and durable board is u build smart.
No Hardware???
p.s. subbed!
usually comes with trucks
Only one truck on the first one
wheres the bolts tho ;-;
do they not come with the trucks?
Forgot hardware....
The trucks I picked out in this video had hardware that came with them. :)
I a tony hawk Bord good
just buy a walmart or target board. they're fine for casual riding but if you wanna grind and do tricks better off just going to zumies
