12:39 👍👍👍Excellent presentation of Let’s Resin Products! I stayed to the end of the video. I buy a lot of their products. I just got the chameleon 10 color set today. Also got a motorcycle mold. After your video I know I am going to start out with galaxy. I am a fluid acrylic artist. Love the selection of mica powders, start something new!!! Love your accent by the way could have listened for an hour long video!🤓
Great idea!! I’m going to do that with both black and white backgrounds. I saw Michelle on Glitz and Glitter do a test using both and the black and white with different effects! Thank you, Claire! I love your channel.
😲 😱 OMG!!!! This is genius. I've been trying to find a way to see what my different colors look like (have to get the chameleon ones) and never thought to use my molds to do it. Thank you so much for sharing
Hi I have the Let Resin range of powders and the Chameleon Flakes,, to be honest you don't need to put too much of the flakes on,, as I tryed it with a large octopus mould and used just the brush,, and went over all of it, in differant colors,,, as its expensive and wouldn't want to be getting more of the flakes when it can be made to last out,, one tip I use is to use a little from each colour and work it in well up along the piece your using works a treat 😀 I've seen other tutorials where they empty some of the little jars on too the pieces!!!,, which is wasteful,, a little goes along way, from each pot.and are saving at the same time just a tip.the chart is a brilliant idea. The colors are gorgeous love lets resin brand. Take care have a great vweek.💐😘👍
Gorgeous colors. I have used some chameleon powders as well. They are amazing. I will have to steal your idea and make tags so that I can remember what they look like when they have been used. That is a fabulous idea.
Oh my goodness, that is the best way to see these wonderful powders. I thinks that it is also a fabtastic idea to have the reference chart. Time saving is always great when someone is as busy as you are. Love the excitement in your voice, such a joy to watch. xxx
Sorry missed the live but just watched this through, love the colours and great idea doing the chart, maybe I need do that with some of my mica powders as well, thanks catch you on next one xx🥰
I have used these and I love them. The colour shifts are amazing. I have used some of them with a white resin background for goldfish, they were brilliant for what I wanted them for. Again, AMAZING!!!
Just tried these powders. I was really disappointed with the pieces I did using one color, but I am going to do a 20” painting and I’m excited to try it. My larger resin paintings seem to generate the most interest, and I think this will make a big splash.
These are gorgeous I asked for inks for my first round from them but I know what I want next time now wowza these are stunning! 😍 the teal is my favorite naturally! I have a grape glitter with the same shift that boggles my mind!
This is BRILLIANT! I can’t tell you how many times I use a color thinking it will look one way and then it’s something else. And these colors are gorgeous! Definitely getting them. Thanks for such a great tutorial! If you use too much mica do to just shake it out? Or leave it?
I have these and love each one for its own reasons. I’m surprised you didn’t use your cricket to make pretty labels for you chart. Lol. Love the chart idea though!!!
OMG! These are so beautiful. Making color tags for reference is such a great idea! I forgot that I have this set and the chameleon flakes. I need to do this too. Although teal & turquoise are typically my favorite colors, galaxy is definitely my favorite of the chameleon powders. The flakes are too much of a hot mess for me to use very often, especially since I tend to make a big mess of everything while I’m working. 😂 Funny to hear that you’re also a Leo. August 15th is my birthday. Maybe us both being Leos is why I always love your creations! ✌🏼💜🛼
Ohhhhhh Beckie haaaa I'm 14th August 🤣🤣❤️❤️ so close !! I agree the Flakes are so messy but they are wow stunning 😍😍 I'm so glad I did it its going to make future projects easier 😍😍😍
@@ClairesCraftyCorner hahaha. We’re almost birthday twins except for I’m many years older! I’ll be 49 this year, but in my mind I’m still a teenager. My body regularly reminds me that I’m not when I try to do the same silly things I used to do back then! 😂 The effects of the flakes really are stunning. I have good intentions to organize my glitters on nail polish sample sticks, but I still haven’t forced myself to get around to doing it. 🤦🏼♀️
Beautiful! And, great idea...wiill definitely be incorporating this into my craft space! Question: I noticed lines transferred to your finished pieces from the mold (I would assume)...#1 I'm very surprised about that bc of the quality of their molds...#2 How would you get rid of that..or deal with it?
Hi Claire can you please tell were to buy the mold you are using in this video i liked your idea of using these mold to know which color you are using thank for inspiring me
Gorgeous! I wonder if those work on polymer clay as well? Your chart reminded me of one I saw made with Cernit's chameleon powders on black and white clay. I have a few of those powders, but I've never thought to try them in resin.
Ohhhhh I wonder .. I do have some clay .. but I don't know if we just brush it on and bake it ? I'm not very knowledgeable on Polymer I just know I want to be 🤣🤣
@@ClairesCraftyCorner You usually brush it on raw clay and then bake it. That makes the clay hold the powder that could be anything between chamelon, mica, dry pastel and even eye shadow. There is a jungle of clays, powders, varnishes and general advises on how you can/can't combine them. I know some, but I also (usually) know who to ask too.
Hi Claire i just love this video i learn a lot today i have the chameleonpowder but i do not know how to use them i am still a beginner i have done earring with resin i want to buy the vista to do the black i am so happy to have found your channel i will subscribe to learn more from you i am using UV lets resin High viscosity how do i get that black to use in my project anyway thank you so much for this video can you tell were to get vista have a great and bless day

I love those chameleon colours 😍 Our local zoo once had a chameleon that couldn't change colour. It had a reptile dysfunction 🦎😐
ha ha ha ha. Love it!

The teal & blue are my favourite!!! If you mix the teal with black resin, the color you get is absolutely stunning!!!!!

Is there two teals? I love turquoise too. It's my favourite colour 💙💙💙
sorry forgot to ask you how long should i leave the resin in my lamp and how much resin to pour

Just discovered your channel and subscribed.
How 'bout adding some UV resin to the finished product?
What is the best way to clean the brush after using it for another color? Or do you use a different brush?
Hey David ... I just rub it off on some paper towel 😁😁🙌🙌
So pretty
Lovely. Can theu be used with Acrylic Resin?
Heyyy Lila ... they can yes ... they might not all come away from the mould like it does with Epoxy .. but yes Acrylic Resin picks up Mica 😁
Thanks. Not sure if they are available in Australia. They are gorgeous!
How do you order bespoke blanks from molds and shapes I cant see that section on their website
Heyyyy lovely ... I dont believe they take bespoke orders .. but worth sending them an e mail or Insta DM
Beautiful Claire. See you later
