What is the white paste you put on after to make the outline items stand out? I want to buy some please. I’m one of your regular customers and I’ve never seen that item. Thanks, Brandy Anderson
All so beautiful 😍 ❤ Do u think u could do a video on ur colored uv resin kit? I recently bought it. I've only tried the black. But the color is only a hint more than clear
Oh my days, in love with the 4th resin example. Mixing the powder in the resin it looked like ribbons of silk. Would anyone know if they have tried it on UV crafting please. ???
It's all different varieties of flake with different colors on different sides of the flake. Think of a diamond with different colors all around it. Whatever side has the main light will show the color and it would be different as the light source changes position
Ooooh the flakes, I am been a Let's Resin fan for 6 months now, I'm new at the craft but let me tell you I wouldn't mind being a tester. You guys got some awesome stuff.
Um hey miss. I am making some earrings and searching for some ideas. So if i use resin then will i let it just dry like a normal mouldit clay or to like something cure it. Cause i found some videos doing cure something with machine. Whats that?? Can u explain
There are 2 main types of resin. One is UV resin which needs to be cured under a UV/LED lamp - like the ones you use to cure gel nail polish. This resin is used in small projects like earrings and other jewellery/key chains etc **BUT** any colour you use in it must be translucent or transparent. If you can't see through it then that means the UV light can't penetrate through and it won't cure through. You can technically use natural sunlight instead of a UV lamp to cure UV resin but it will take a lot longer and obviously depends on how sunny it is. The second type of resin is called Epoxy resin (there are different types of epoxy resin such as "Tabletop", "Deep Pour", "X-hour Fast Cure" etc but they are all epoxy resin, just used for different tasks. With epoxy you can use opaque colours as it doesn't need the UV to cure it, most come in 2 parts, the epoxy and the hardener and you mix parts A and B together according to the directions on your packaging - some are 1:1, others 2:1 etc so make sure you read the instructions carefully and know which type you are using. Once you mix the 2 parts together for a set amount of time you can essentially just pour it and come back in however many hours it says it takes to cure. There are a ton of videos from amazing resin artists on UA-cam that go into detail about the differences and how to avoid certain things like bubbles which you don't want in your projects and have a huge amount of fantastic information and tutorials but this is the general answer to your question. I hope this helps you out 😊
Can you also use a darker alcohol ink type like alcohol dark blue with these chameleon powders? I have ordered chameleon powder and normal mica powders but also have alcohol ink lying around. Kinda curious how this mica powder would react with a see through dice due to alcohol ink
I just bought the resin and a skull mould. Did you pour in layers to allow each layer to dry or was it all poured in one after the other while still wet?
Wow thank you so much for this video! I find it difficult to tell what a pigment will actually look like when it's just a stock photo of dry powder. This was super helpful 😍 I am curious, does using white resin (instead of black) with these pigments make a difference to how it turns out?
It's our tarot mold ,you may refer to this link to check: www.amazon.com/LETS-RESIN-Different-Cards%EF%BC%8CUnique-Silicone/dp/B09JZ2WNL7?ref_=ast_sto_dp
@@mizzdimplez3818 Hi, when I’ve done it, as soon as you are done with applying it to one , before it dries, you wipe it off immediately. It somehow stays in the crevices but only wipes off the top (the place you do t want it once dry) I hope that helps and I hope it made sense. 😊
There may be two reasons: one is that the brushing is uneven, and the other is that the mold has been used many times and the mica is not firmly attached. 😊
@@LETSRESIN well, definitely not the latter, since I used a brand new mold. And it looked like enough powder was applied before pouring, but I guess it wasn’t quite enough
I love y’all’s chameleon pigments!! I only have 6 but I’ll get more when I can!! I love the roundish key chains y’all made on your Amazon page. It’s the 2nd video in the 10 pack chameleon pigment powders set. I wanted to ask what did y’all use to make the bubbles that y’all cured in the uv resin and then brushed on the chameleon colors…regular hand soap? Something like dawn dish soap? Regardless, it’s really the prettiest and creative things ever!! They are really just gorgeous!!!🔥🔥👏👏❤
Hi, thank you so much for your love and support! We didn't use UV resin in this video, would you mind send me the video timestamp where you have question with?
I’ve been using these in my starching layer to make silk flowers from, with no transfer! You make the best stuff ❤
Awesome, love them all. The chameleon flakes are my favorite 🤗💟
🥰Color shifting is always best!!!
@@LETSRESIN most definitely 🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹
At 5:23, what's the stuff that is being brushed on? Would of been cool if told what it was.
That is white acrylic.😊
@@LETSRESIN thank you. Sorry my comment came off rude, not my intention.
@@jaySean0000 No worries at all, any questions are welcomed :) Hope we can be helpful to your crafts journal.
Where did you get those tarot moulds? They’re gorgeous 😍
I love those tarot card molds. They almost look like Cardcaptor art, too.
Thank you!! They are!
Love the colors and love the molds 🥰
🥰

The skull.....was that the intense chameleon powder? Thank you!!
Yes!
when using the flakes/powder, do you need mold release agent or just apply?
All so beautiful 😍 ❤

Thank you, it's a good idea.
It has to be that way so that it can cure under the UV lamp, if the light can't penetrate it then it won't cure.
Thank you for making this video!
No worries!

So please explain the difference in the way hyper shift works (I know it's mixed in resin) and the way chameleon stuff works.

Can we mix Chameleon powder inside resin and make coasters with them?
Wow this is really nice Those coasters look expensive. 👍
Thank you 🤗
Can these powders be used with Moldmaster plaster too?

Can you use chameleon poweder on your hands and put you hand print on cured resin? For a frame?
Yes, you can do that!
Can i use neon powder like this or do i have to put it in the resin?
Yes, you can use neon powder into resin
How do I find the link for Michelle's giveaway

I'll write it down and transfer your idea to our artist!
I just bought the resin and a skull mould. Did you pour in layers to allow each layer to dry or was it all poured in one after the other while still wet?
For the skull you can just pour all at once, we poured 3 times because sometimes we mixed far less resin than the skull need 🤣
@@LETSRESINlike misd how do u separate the skull mould from it??? Tear it or break it or ???
Could've used some written info at the end, but thanks.

Let’s Resin, are these pigments lightfast? Could it be used by professional artists to sell art with these pigments without the risk of fading?
Our chameleon powder does not fade easily, you definitely could use them for your creations😊
