Never a young woman was so lovely on screen as Judith was in this video. All around she radiates happiness, beauty, class in a way that defies description. It certainly has to do with the incomparable way she smiles. During her whole life she blessed those around her with the freshness of her smile. What a blessed divine being.

Morningtown Ride was, I think, the first 'pop' song I ever learned. I was about four. The teenager who often looked after me taught me the song by playing her record over and over. She even looked quite similar to Judith Durham. I'm not sure which girl I fell in love with, at that innocent age, but whenever I hear that song, I still have an emotional response.
The young Judith is the stuff dreams are made off. The sheer perfection of her looks, her class, and that incomparable voice. Judith: Thank you for showing what perfection should be like.
Not only were The Seekers one of history's greatest recording groups, they represented everything good in the world. What a contrast to degenerate groups like the Stoned. Excuse me, the Stones. As musicians, they could have performed Bluegrass, Folk, Rock and Blues with equal ease. Not to mention Gospel music. The star, make that Supernova of the group, is of course, the great Judith Durham. Her voice is as natural and relaxed as a singer can be. Like a female Nat King Cole. With her great gifts the Seekers rose to a musical level few if any attain.
Great video thanks. just a pity the audio quality at times is very poor sound is very bassy and over-modulates so much even at very low volumes. Thanks for sharing..
I heard in an interview with Judith Durham that the kids in the video were from a local orphanage. I wonder what was going through their minds. It must have been a very odd experience for them.
