It's great to know the materials, yolks, FMC, throttles, etc can even be purchased. This is going to be my retirement hobby. You did a fantastic job!

DatBossAM :D how bad is it? you might be surprised that its not a problem. as long as its ok when corrected you should be fine in a civilian job. military will be a problem. fighter pilots i know have to have perfect uncorrected vision.
***** My eyesight is really f*cking bad... -6.50 and -5.75, I wanna be a commercial airline pilot though anyway...

I was wondering at first, as the controls looked like gamer stuff. But now I see what you did. Soooo realistic!
I can only imagine the cost. Every switch has to work, and it looks like you used real analog "backup" avionics. Not cheap... I used to install them in GA aircraft.

Hallo. Danke für deinen Kommentar. An diesem Cockpit haben wir nun über 3 jahre am bauen... Mehere Hundert, wenn nicht tausende Stunden Arbeit. Es gibt keine wirkliche Anleitung dazu. Im nachhinein müssten wir es uns zweimal überlegen ob wir wieder eins bauen würden. Zu den Kosten... Ich schätze mal so um die 15`000Euro für Material. Grüsse aus der schweiz. Nils

Hallo. Ja eins nach dem anderem. Rundumsicht (160°) folgt im September... LCDs als Sichtfenster eignen sich nicht wirklich, da die Tiefenwirkung verschwindet.

Super geiles cockpit! :) Baut ihr auch für andere leute solche cockpits? Weil ich bin nicht gerade der begabteste in sachen handwerk...
