I'm so sorry you had so many issues selling your house. I had issues buying mine and I've never had so many anxiety attacks in my life. Buying a home is supposed to be an exciting time and it was absolute torture for me. I told my husband we were never moving again. They will have to carry my old dead carcass out of my current house because I am not doing that ever again.

I loved "This is how you lose the time war"! One of my favorite books I've read last year. I'm sad that you didnt like it. I feel like reading it as a book was better experience than audiobook could be.
I wish to read Bloom. It sounds interesting.
Recently, I've been buying more books in English. I mentioned earlier I got "A Tempest of Tea" from Fairyloot, but I also got "Scarlet Alchemist" (also in Fairyloot edition), and managed to get regular paperback of "Library of Broken Worlds" . I'm waiting for my first Locked library book (maybe it will come this week) - it will be "Moon Stone".

oh no! its a shame Time War didnt grab you, but understandable if it wasn’t working for you. i really enjoyed the changing time periods, some within our comprehension and others completely made up. i hope you come around to it in the future, but you know your book tastes better than anyone here in the comments, so if it wasnt your thing then thats totally cool.
you mention briefly of Thornhedge, that was a fun book as well (granted ive never read a t. kingfisher so i have no comparison), so i hope you get the chance to give Thornhedge a try too
(on a completely different note, i finished Fragile Enchantment and oooooh my god was it a let down. every chance of tension gets resolved within the following chapter lmaoo)
I definitely plan to pick of Thornhedge soon. I just have to be in the right mood lol.
A Fragile Enchantment was bruuuuutally disappointing. I couldn't believe how not good it was... I'm so confused what the author was thinking with that story
@@kimberlyreads right??? the synopsis is like "Man, this Lovelace character is gonna be a biiiig problem!!" and then the identity is revealed, then the next chapter after that the MC is like "it's ok i forgive you, you have good intentions :)" HUH??? ALL THIS BUILD UP FOR *NOTHING?!*
the only incredible thing about the book is that it managed to both rush through things AND drag things on at the same time.
That's such a shame because I'm always on the lookout For good scifi and mickey 7 soinded interesting. The premise of how to win the time war doesn't sound like one i would consider though, TBH.😊

Also crazy about having to list it under. In my neck of the woods all the houses basically go into a bidding war. 😭 it makes me worried for when we eventually buy our house.
Our realtor is really good, but the other realtors of the buyers that we've had to deal with are psychopaths 🤣🤣
Sadly it was supposed to sell over, but because it went back on the market, people think something is wrong with the house and don't want to risk buying it. So the lady who pulled out of buying it basically cost us probably 5k on the sale.
