I just made this and it turned out so cute! I layed my clear vinyl over some quilted faux leather that I backed with 809 and foam! I wanted a sturdy bag. It came out really cute! Thanks for a wonderful tutorial!

Thank you Ashley for a great tutorial. I purchased this holographic TPU vinyl and never used it before. It came with a protective backing, as well as a mesh type fabric. Is it best to cut the vinyl before removing the protective backing? Also, is the mesh to support it while sewing to keep it from sticking? Please let me know. I’d love to make one soon. Thank you very much!❤

I cut it after removing the films. The film is there to protect the printing when it is rolled up 👍🏼

I'm on the corners right now and really struggling with them. I tried on my flatbed and cylinder arm and had to walk away bc some choice words were starting to fly😂

Oh no!! Did you try pinching the corners down? It worked really well when I did that!

On the corners of the clear vinyl, it looks like you cut & made your corners rounded. Is that what you did?

Looks great, but you are giving me anxiety with how close your fingers get to your needle. I've seen to many kids sew over their digits. Try using a stiletto. Otherwise great tutorial
