If you try dusting your hands with talc/baby powder or cornstarch, shake off the excess, then stroke both sides of your vinyl with your hands, it is just enough to break the static that causes many of the problems with sewing plastic

When I worked retail for various department stores we had to use "see-through" bags like mesh. I had an acrylic case that I also used - this would have been perfect and it's a great style. Thank you for the tutorial.

Just made a few using jelly vinyl for the backs. Adorable and look like they would be good for holding all the various pens and markers that some of us have to have and self provide where I work.

And than you mentioned your mom being a retired Air Force traffic controller and I got so excited because I'm currently watching this as I sit on Alert with the Air Force as an F-16 crew chief! I wanted to use up my clear vinyl at home to make a quick cross body bag for the Oshkosh Air Show this week when I get off shift and can get back home! So I tried making one with some orange jelly vinyl for the back and Daisy clear vinyl for the front and it was sooooo sticky!!! I had to cover my sewing machine with parchment paper. But it finally came out and I love it!!! Thank you so much for the fun video😂 your mom is a blast. 😊

So cute! I watched this yesterday and I was sad I didn’t have any clear vinyl. My mother in law passed a few years ago and I got a ton of her quilting fabric and supplies. She had some clear vinyl in her stash!! I have boxes still boxed up with a ridiculous amount of quilting fabric. I have only went through about half of it. I am so excited to try this pattern!! Yippee!!!
