This might be the best interview about biscuits that I've ever seen.

Jess is my hero. Also I love her "Ta-da!" tic. It's so cheerful!
Relaxed theater seems like such a nice environment. I have a few mental illnesses, one of which is anxiety, that make live performances a bit difficult. I may need to leave at any point in a performance, or stim, and knowing that there is space to do those things could make the whole event much, much better for me. The thing about anxiety is that it can spiral out of control when you have to worry about how your anxiety could potentially mess up any given situation, so relaxed theater seems like a great way of eliminating that anxiety about having anxiety.

I adore interviews with her. I enjoy both her intelligent and well-thought anserwers as well as her tics, whenever she's saying something a bit more unusual than hedgehog or something. Also, the interviewer did a really great job at just talking to her normally, making the interview all about what she really came for and just laughed when her tics got funny.

Jess is awesome! :) I cheered a little when she mentioned autism because I'm an autistic adult who needs to stim a lot to stay comfortable in environments with a lot of sensory input coming in at once.

Great interview, our host asked Jess so much she could expound upon it was really informative - and she's smart, lively and intelligent, tics and all

If you listen to a bunch of her interviews, you don't hear her saying 'biscuit' anymore.

she's great. I'd love to have seen her version of Beckett's Not I, but it's not fully available on youtube, only get clips of it. Admittedly nothing will ever beat Billie Whitelaw's version but I'd have loved to see Jess's version. The tics would've only added to the scary speed of the spoken word of the piece.

I had a guy in college with Tourette's. One day he sat next to our friend. He was black. He didn't call him biscuit.

Lovely person but she must have a massive bruise on her chest. It's worrying.

I had that same tic for the longest time. It just makes my sternum raw.
