I wish some fans would learn not everything has to sound metal 24/7. As a musician you want to evolve and use the world as your connoisseur. You can't please everyone all the time and I've learned that the hard way. Why all the power metal bands suddenly become hard rock when they get to AFM? That's stupid. This is not the Silent Force I used to know. Iron Mask, At Vance, others as well. I'm tired of this generic 80's hard rock. Really boring. AFM, if you read this - stop pushing your bands to do this. Make them create Power Metal instead!
Yes I agree. I have noticed many bands this year have been going more in this direction. Alex Beyrodt already has Voodoo Circle for this style.It could be that some vocalists are incorporating more of a hard rock/bluesy style these days rather than a more operatic approach. This is still well produced , but I prefer Silent Force with DC Cooper.
This is quality for sure, just not the direction I wanted to hear. The singer is real good at what he does, but the Bon Jovi vibe is turning me off. Infatuator was one of the first metal albums I ever bought and it's got a special place in my metal heart:)
