The AI pissed me off in this game. They have no consistent Speed. They are faster if you're ahead, and slower if you're behind. Basically punishes you for skill. That said I still loved this game for the atmosphere music and unique conncept.
@@ObsoleteGamercom nice. I used the car alot, but then I switched to the Severus. I believe the severus has more acceleration, and drifts easy so it builds more meter.
@@ObsoleteGamercom U can try this, not to get the first place when the race just start. Collect more power till the bar is full. When the red sign comes up, keep up the gap with the other cars then switch the route or make a huge power play. And then... BOOM, you got it!

Fun fact: It is just barely possible to do a lap 1 route changer on this track. You need to play near flawlessly though.

Yeah, the rubber banding is brutal in this game. They have a nasty habit of doing this on the final stretch of the race too.
all arcade racing games do that. It is necessary evil, otherwise you going to get bored
