This is the first ever video I found of you, I'm so surprised you don't have more subscribers because this video is so well made, at least you have one more subscriber now and I am looking forward to follow you and watch this channel grow!
Delighted you got in early m8. I bet it was hard to hold your tongue sometimes. The footage looks amazing, can't wait to see it for myself. One question at 2:28 there was a white line across the road was that home valley / wilderness boundary or was it a province / province boundary?
That is what we call a map stitching error where the elevation of one map was offset to the other chunk. Haha The only boundaries that you might notice is when my UI disappears that is because of a server transfer. ALMOST seemlessly done! @5:02 is a good example of that!
Watching you run through that valley with the mountains in the back ground is so awesome. I know I'll have a lot of fun exploring the game and be mesmerized .
I have apparently been under a rock and just heard about this game I am really thrilled to have found your videos to learn more about it. Awesome and looks like its going in the right directions.
Been watching you for nearly a year now since I found out about Pax Dei. The alpha has me so excited, I can't wait to see the potential of a player built economy (hopefully we don't run into issues like what happened in New World)
The community city building and dungeon difficulty looks fun! Looking forward to designing my own little village. Spent a lot of hours in Terrafirmacraft and Vintage Story and Fractured online doing similar.
Pax Dei appears to be the game I've been waiting for! It makes me so nostalgic for my EverQuest days and socializing with that huge online community while adventuring with all my RL friends and all the online friends we discovered! I hope, I hope, I hope! I was a blacksmith and very much hope to be one again!
The chains have been lifted! 🎉 Another great video, so hyped for the crafting, it looks amazing. As excited as I am, there’s still a long way to go. Combat being the first priority. But to be a true MMO there are countless other important aspects that still need to be addressed (the lack of classes, and abilities tied to gear really worries me). Regardless, I’m excited to see what they have in store for the future. Keep up the great videos man, you’re killing it 🙌🏼
Really great video! Have so been looking forward to Pax Dei. Many of my guild/clan friends are in alpha and I'm really hoping to join them before the 27th! Will be catching up with your content :)
I swear the wait for this game is going to kill me. The alpha looks great, it's gonna be awesome just to see what people get up to when invites go out tomorrow!
The Dark Souls esque take to story telling, revealing the worlds lore through object discovery as you move through it makes it feel like a real living world and rewards you for looking into its secrets, doing that with friends or hopefully future clan mates is the thing I'm most looking forward to, I love the idea of a Hobbit like Indiana Jones clan dedicated to discovering Pax Dei secrets even opening a College or something for people interested in that sort of thing.
looking forward to experimenting with building designs and too see what is possible and to let my mind go wild. and to start experimenting with crafting and resource gathering, but most importantly to have the passion for a game again
I am most looking forwards to the cherished memories I can make. There's always something very special and precious about being apart of something during the start, or early stages. No matter how the game changes and develops overtime, we will be there to walk alongside it as it grows and evolves. The community that has sprung up around this game is beautiful. Seeing players get excited about lore, seeing players create their own original characters with backstory to roleplay, seeing the stunning player creations, being able to feel the passion of the devs. This is something truly awesome. I hope you all get into the alpha, and have a fan-flipping-tastic time.
TOTALLY agree with the crafting take. If this is a long-form social game, items simply cannot come easy/fast. They need to be impactful, and that means time/effort is needed. Yes, different people have different amounts of time - but that shouldn't change the balance of these things. It just means it's even more of a break when a player with limited time can get those items (or, they make friends with someone who does have more time).
This reminds me so much of ultima online only with updated graphics and beauty ❤. I'm so excited to try this with my family and friends and please keep making these videos so I can live vicariously through you lol.
As a real-life Monastic, I'm really looking forward to participating in a more monastic role in the game. I think there's huge potential for this and it could certainly help the economy by running a Monastery that has members who specialize in one thing or another to provide to the rest of the community. I really can't wait!
Been lurking for a while, and it's wonderful to know the main person I've been looking to for sneak peaks and hype has ACTUALLY played and still cares about the game so much! 350 hours is no small time, and it's very much a relief to see. Can't wait to see more content, and watch this game grow and evolve. You're an absolute champion for keeping the content coming. You're a gem of this community ❤
Pax Dei looks soooo good! I cant wait to see what all everyone thinks of the coming alpha. I'm most looking forward to running dungeons and running into people! woot woot!
I’m looking forward to seeing a video describing the 18 hour process it took to make 1 piece of armor. I’m a Star Wars galaxies OG MMO player and I need to know if Pax Dei is going to be the game that finally improves on SWG crafting.
I am most looking forward to playing and enjoying with other peoples company I'm excited to enjoy the beautiful creations that people create and share HERE'S TO JOLLY COOPERATION
Looking forward to crafting and building, love me some Light RP in MMO's! With what we know so far, just going around seeing everyone's builds sounds like a ton of fun!
Definitely find the idea of no NPC shopkeepers etc. interesting. Can't wait to see how this player-driven economy pick up and keep itself sustainable in the long run.
I was really hoping that the building/crafting method in Pax Dei was deep and customizable from the beginning to the end. Based on your videos, it seems developers respected their objectives. Great work from Mainframe and Eltarii of course 👌
Crafting is my favorite thing about Mortal Online and im sure crafting wont be as in depth but i enjoy games that make specializing in a specific profession feels rewarding.
So it took you 18 hours to make a piece of armor. Would you be able to give a summary on where this time was spent and how actively you had to be involved in this process? For example: was it 6 hours gathering, 6 hours refining, 6 hours crafting with automatic timers you could walk away from for 6 hours at a time?
And, oh my god, these hitboxes you see at 11:25. Between the attacking wolf and the player is a distance like 5 metres or so, but you still are being hit??? Please, Eltari, tell me that the hitboxes are gonna be adjusted in a way where a strike really has to be visually connected to the rag doll to count, and please tell me that Mainframe for sure plans to integrate a decent action combat with active shield blocking and dynamic dodging. Kind of like an actual action game, but of course a bit simpler. New World's combat from the very first Alpha around 2020 was amazing.
Hey! Combat really hasnt even been touched yet! Dont look at combat like any representation of the final product! Hitboxes will be adjusted most definitely!
I think this is going to be such a good game, I am looking forward to the exploration as the environment is just amazing, I am also looking forward to the PVP Wars and the PVE aspect of the game.
I'm looking forward to the building and crafting in this game. I don't mind how long it takes to craft something to be honest. It will just show that crafting will have a big impact on the economy in the game especially considering that some people won't want to invest their time into crafting and instead gather resources and make money that way.
Pax Dei looks like everything I want. Once the combat system gets fleshed out… man this could be my main game for the foreseeable future. I just hope for sword and dagger dual weild and sword mage playstyles!
I cant wait to play pax dei i have been waiting for months and most exited about the black smith i just want to craft Armor because the level of detail
So I have to apologize, my current rig struggles recording AND playing the game. So if you see lower frames that is most likely my fault. That being said the game is unoptimized as an alpha so that is to be expected. When I am not recording or have background applications open im running 60-90+ fps though!
For this alpha they are looking at 7000 but the future I think they mentioned over 20,000 per server! Even now the world is huge. Took me about an hour to go from one side of a map to another and there are currently 4 maps with at least 8 other maps connected to just those that we cant get in yet!
Can't wait for a brand new MMO, especially with a dedicated group of Devs. Struggling to justify $24 a month for Life is Feudal MMO and hoping to sink my teeth into the new alpha which just looks stunning from the videos I've watched so far. Eltarii's vids so far have been great. A few hours of viewing are before me.
The opening 5 minutes running while avoiding the woofs reminded me of the old vanilla WoW Wetlands run to Menethil Harbor :D
I love the way this reaches back to old school and what really works to make a classic MMO.
So excited for this game :') thank you for always posting content on it! My go to for updates for sure!
Thank you for putting out all of your Pax Dei content. Lots of stuff for me to watch.
This is the first ever video I found of you, I'm so surprised you don't have more subscribers because this video is so well made, at least you have one more subscriber now and I am looking forward to follow you and watch this channel grow!
Thanks for the kind words! And I look forward to you joining us for this awesome journey!

@@eltarii Cool, Looks like it only lasts a few seconds. I'll know not to report it as a bug IF I get in.
Been following the game progress from your channel! Happy to see these awesome developments! Cheers for more!
Thanks for continually getting me fired up to experience Pax Dei! Love your content!
You are welcome! I am the Pax Dei hype man haha! Though I do try to keep it grounded as best I can!
Im looking forward to the building of many creative cities
I thought you might be in! Congrats, looks like a lot of fun. Hopefully I get in this week!
I hope to see you in the Creation soon!
Been watching you for nearly a year now since I found out about Pax Dei. The alpha has me so excited, I can't wait to see the potential of a player built economy (hopefully we don't run into issues like what happened in New World)
Cant wait to craft and build it looks so fun!!!
Stoked for the need to work with others!! Funnest part of MMOs to me have been working with others in du geons etc.. PD ups the ante!
I like the openness of the world. The vastness of this world will definitely be overwhelming.
Just love the idea of crafting a special armor taking a lot of gaming hours to complete. I love a game that makes playing rewarding and a challenge!
Same! Pax Dei is definitely aiming to be that!
The community city building and dungeon difficulty looks fun! Looking forward to designing my own little village. Spent a lot of hours in Terrafirmacraft and Vintage Story and Fractured online doing similar.

You are welcome! It is really rewarding because of the time it takes to do things! I hope you enjoy it too!

Super pumped for the game! I’m looking forward to the exploration of this amazing world and collaboration with other players.
Thanks for this video finally some new info to help give insight into the game!

The game is looking good, glad you got in to get us early info.
It has been so difficult to hold back but I am glad I am finally free to talk about my experience so far!!
I love the idea of player-made items and buildings. It makes the economy be player-driven.
Yea i miss the old school mmo community
can't wait to see more alpha footage and how the combat system will be implemented!
I am really looking forward to what they cook up in combat!
As a crafter gatherer in video games this looks and sounds so amazing!!!
Finally! Dark age of camelot hath been reconstructed!!! Great video BTW, thumbs up and you just caught a sub... keep it up
super exciting! It's so nice seeing a game I've followed since the kickstarter make it this far.
Love your content, don't feel bad! Happy you got chosen to pre-try the Alpha! Gratz!
Thank you! I appreciate it and I hope you enjoy and get in to play as well!
Subd! Been waiting to play a good mmorpg.

Is there a limit on how many people you can party up with?
The party size limit is currently 6 players! Clan size doesn't have a capacity.
Pax Dei looks soooo good! I cant wait to see what all everyone thinks of the coming alpha. I'm most looking forward to running dungeons and running into people! woot woot!
Youll want to watch what happens when our clan went and hit up one of the largest dungeons!! That video will be out soon!

This is going to be so much fun, I can't wait.
Definitely find the idea of no NPC shopkeepers etc. interesting. Can't wait to see how this player-driven economy pick up and keep itself sustainable in the long run.
I am excited to get in and become a crafter. I want to study alchemy. Keep my friends healthy and buffed :)

Nice Video thanks for sharing cant wait to play myself and good luck to everybody
I look forward to a game that takes time to progress. That is what makes it feel like you earned it.
Game looks amazing, i am looking forward to playing it with my friends.
exploration and a slow pace progress seems like the mmo scene needs right now
So excited to see how combat looks.
Crafting is my favorite thing about Mortal Online and im sure crafting wont be as in depth but i enjoy games that make specializing in a specific profession feels rewarding.
The game is looking fantastic, I love how realistic the surfaces look at 8:20 ! If they nail the combat as well, then it's looking very promising
love types of games like this... i can tell, that im going to enjoy this game looks great

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
OMG This graphic is so gorgeous, I'm looking forward to exploring the world and enjoying the view!
Question, do the dots on the equipment indicate wear or 'level'?
The dots indicate the tier of the gear!
I cannot wait to see how crafting works in this game and hunting.
And, oh my god, these hitboxes you see at 11:25. Between the attacking wolf and the player is a distance like 5 metres or so, but you still are being hit??? Will be interesting to see how the pvp evolves, skill based is always better, or it will just be a button smasher.
I am most interested in crafting and building a nice house. I am more a solo player but I have no problems with grouping at times.
chill vibes love the tie
I love the idea of only player driven economy and build up a own world with the community.
I'm definitely looking forward to settle with my friends.
This might be my new main game. I'm looking forward to seeing how crafting works. I also heard that there are huge Dungeons.

Whoa 350 hrs in an alpha??? That’s dedication
Some testers clocked over 1k! I stand on the shoulders of giants haha
@@eltarii that’s crazy! Although I’ve at least have that over the past 10 years of Star Citizen lol
Looking forward to GRINDING this game!
Same here!!!
I look forward to craft, explore and more in the game!
I cant wait exploring and conquering the world!!
Im so excited to play this game and build my own little village with my friends. Been looking forward to this game since it was annouced.
I love Building and want to see how the Building System worked.
Need to know how they work with PVE and PVP building across the world... Also places, capacity etc.

Let's go PD!!!!
isnt this going to be just like mortal online 2? whats the stand out.
The game is looking amazing, I am excited to see the crafting.
first things first: I'm so jealous^^
next one: Don't feel bad and thanks for the video and all the impressions
most important question : how well does the game run ?

When I am not recording or have background applications open im running 60-90+ fps though!
So this is an mmo? like proper MMo - how big is the world? how many players per server ? Mortal online size? Wurm online size?
For this alpha they are looking at 7000 but the future I think they mentioned over 20,000 per server!
Even now the world is huge. Took me about an hour to go from one side of a map to another and there are currently 4 maps with at least 8 other maps connected to just those that we cant get in yet!

It looks fun, but I'm worried how they acctually manage to maintain this sandbox alive in the future.
Game looks absolutely sick!
