That's some nice observation
The faces are so funny ;-; bretts always surprised and eddy is always angrily falling asleep xD

Of course lvl 12 was going to be paganini

Well it could’ve been Tchaikovsky 🤔
The first violin rockstar
Caprice no.24😀

As an Italian I find this way of categorizing music so weird ''Allegro non troppo'', ''Allegro molto appasionato''. It's like ''Heh, it's fast, but not too much'', ''Fast, really passionate''. It gives me the same feeling/vibe you could get from a brief description of a show in a TV Guide lololol
I KNEW THAT THE LAST LEVEL WOULD BE PAGANINI!
PAGANANI??!??
Omae wa mo---
Nothing’s ever going to be harder than Paganini
I sometimes play Paganini pieces on the viola but some are harder than others so someone who plays Paganini isn’t always at level 12, for example I think I’m about level 7 or 8, I don’t think I’m higher than that so the composer doesn’t means always anything 🤷♀️
@@fallofatlantis that's true, but some composers (Paganini for violin, Liszt for piano, etc.) have mostly difficult pieces. That doesn't mean you won't find mid-level or even easy pieces, but there aren't as many as there are from other composers. Also, their harderst pieces are famously difficult (caprice 24, hungarian rhapsody 2, etc.).

I have been to 5 years of my kids' various cello and violin recitals and I can assure you that this is a very different take on "Level 1" than the one I am familiar with.
I didn't know people did vibrato in level two. WELL I’M WAY BEHIND.
I was surprised as well! I don’t think you should pay too much mind, I only learned vibrato 3-4 years after I started playing. It’s important to have a strong foundation, and after that, it’s a breeze!
THREE FOUR YEARS AAAAAAAFTERR ???? ... oh gosh... i started 2 weeks ago...
@@BigAppleRedd it took two months for me
Give it A LOT of patience and dedication. Violin is not an easy instrument to learn by any means, so don't be impatient and practice. One day, you will find yourself being able to proudly play difficult pieces.
As for vibrato, it's not as hard as it seems when you try to learn it on your own. Make sure to ask an experienced violinist, such as your teacher if you have any, so you don't do it in a wrong way (it can be a really hard task to get used to the correct technique once you have learnt a wrong one), and you should be able to do it comfortably in less than a couple weeks. After that, it will slowly come naturally when playing.
Same. I’m questioning my teachers teaching and myself.
brett's double stops are AMAZING. that is all.
ling ling can do all levels at the same time while on the hula hoop
no, lingling does level 12 12 times at the same time while playing tabletennis against some semiprefessional.
true, but for ling ling to do any level below 12 is an insult to her abilities
well, i think ling ling isn't playing lv 12, that's still relatively easy for volks like perlman, HH or ling ling, although david i break stradivari instruments when i'm high guerret would be happy if someone could honestly say that he is that good but i think that there are much harder pieces, have you ever heard of the erlkoenig caprice(if you play the violin, your wrists will just snap when you look at the scores, seriously, paganini 24 looks easy compared to that or the last rose of the summer)
S.J.W.Bach true

Level 1 is playing Despacito for views
For views? Last time i checked it was just for entertainment, and them playing what they love to do. Its called "talent" idiot.
Ali's Gacha Studio he means that song is overrating therefore getting more views causing some violinists to play that just for view Thats all.
Ali's Gacha Studio It's just a joke based on another video they made...why so mean? :(
@@eiia4062
A:I can play despacito
B:Wow so talented.
Level 40: Ling Ling's warm-ups
And that doesn't even get into his actual pieces...
I have always thought that Ling Ling is a little girl, stuck in her childhood like Maggie from The Simpsons... always trainging and never giving up, because she is the power of the violin and the violin she has are honored to be played by her and so their practise to master her not the other way around and time is just the music which wouldn’t stop because Ling Ling is saving the world by non-stop playing and so the world and spacetime are accompanying her so we can live our lives and forever be a nice, happy little shadow on her wall.
he writes his own pieces because no mortal made adequate music yet
Does anyone else think that TwoSet should make a second channel purely for performance? Or is it just me?
Think so as well.

if there is any level 13,
it's only warming up for Ling Ling before doing 12 levels of violin playing
Level 13 (by this scale is probably Paganini Caprices (certain ones are fiendishly difficult), level 14, Wienawsky Ecole Moderne, finally at the very peak top level Level 15, Ernst 6 polyphonic etudes. (Musically, top of the scale would be any piece written by Mozart)
Ling Ling can nailed all those level while having the violin play upside down.

Brett actually learned how to play that!
Now he belongs in anime as well ;)
I'll send this video to a friend to passively aggressively tell him that he's at level 0 and should have chosen viola.
Dom NX I hope that you’re just joking. Anyway, it's not good to discourage people. Just saying 😅
I am just joking
Vibrato at stage 2?!? Screw you! 😂😂😭😭😭
This more like a professional level🤣🤣. M level 4
It is not a scale of how a student has progressed, but rather how a piece's difficulty has progressed
In their defense, vibrato is hard to stop doing after you have done it for so long.
I'm at stage 2 and my teacher says we are not still prepared to do it, is one of the most difficult techniques and if u are not prepared you can develop bad habits doing vibrato. I could do it in level 8. I mean after 20 years playing violin hahaha ouuuchh :-(
- Shooting Starlight - I feel you, I’ve played for 6 years and still don’t know how to do vibrato (and is stuck on like level 2 :/)
I can't even pass level 1 at the moment. Still in the moment of introduction to warm ups, exercises, all the basic stuffs. Hope i'll be able to do this 🙏
Of course you will!
Me too😅 but we should get there...eventually
Wish you the best of luck in your studies ❤️
I'm a new student to this art. This all blows me away
@@isurehopeso7689 wish you guys the best of luck! i never thought i'd be able to pass it, but here i am at level five! just keep practicing :D
Random comment about how difficult the violin is. Joke about violinists from a violist. Complaint about how much this channel jokes about violas. Something about how I’m not a violinist but I like watching this channel anyway. Random Ling Ling joke that’s probably already been done to death in the comments on literally every other TwoSet video.
Bravo 👏🏻 👏🏻
Finally found this comment.
You forgot level zero
Viola
Xx FlamselkMusic xX do u play the viola
@@jei623 I do, and it's harder to vibrato on Viola since our instruments are thicker
@VampSlaying 101 lmao have u heard violin from a viola pov? we dont really like to get earraped everytime. Stupid treble clef lmao
Lydia Trout #savage 🔥
Ocean V agreed
*almost dies in euphoria hearing well played Mendelssohn*
Monika Mirek ua-cam.com/video/z6JEPmO9wu0/v-deo.html my favorite two set piece 😄😄
That really was a well played Mendelssohn, wasn't it? Much better phrasing than many pro recordings I've heard over the years.
When I’m with you I’m in uToPiA (sorry only a few people will get it)
GoshhhJimin a wild bts fan has arrived
I know you guys will never read this, but THANK YOU so much for your videos. I’ve been watching for over a year, and you’ve inspired me to get back into violin after about fifteen years, and I this video was amazing for finding intermediate repertoire by legit composers that fits my skill level, and also pieces that I can progress towards. I’m also teaching my boyfriend, who had never even touched a violin until a few weeks ago, and this was a great help for him, as well - I would have thought the Andantino was too challenging for a beginner, but he loves it and he can actually play it!
