Excellent video. The bigger the player in the world of watches, the safer the game. Where a new colour or a 1mm size change is dressed up as 'excitement'. Microbrands are where it's at if you want something interesting. Only the Direnzo here has my attention but that's kind of the point isn't it? And the quality just gets better year on year.
Thank you. for the compliment! I do agree wholeheartedly, the variety alone should recommend the microbrand scene to any watch collector that values originality and you're spot on about quality ever improving! Of course, unearthing them could be a difficult, time consumming task, but that's what my channel is for.
Enjoy looking, I hope you find more like the Ferro and the Direnzo, I’m sat here having just watched your video, I’m seriously thinking of pre-ordering the Ferro, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for, just got to check import tax and other fees first
Nice vid bro! Your recommendation are spectacular, really intrigued eith Second Hour. However I think it would be better if you talj a little bit faster!
I was immediately intrigued by this Second Hour release, but disappointed to note this is not equipped with an automatic movement, especially at the price. So my excitement disappeared quite as quickly as you aroused it. It's an interesting list. The new Orion Sylph is a marked step forwards in my opinion, even if I'm still not i a huery to pursue it. This is perhaps mostly due to my feeling of collection saturation in this direction for the time being. Ferro, fathers, and Arcturus weren't really on my radar yet. Always happy to explore new options. While I generally agree with the assessment of Wise, I think their more interesting dress watch is the AD15. This new Asura is definitely an intriguing design, but less to my taste. On top I also never felt that Wise had to prove their worth by going after swiss movements. I regret this is driving prices up, instead of maintaining the market position where they seem to have every right to be praised. We'll see where that goes.
I agree The Memoir's price is a bit steep (was announced after publishing the video, but I woud've included it nonetheless)... Happy I could add a few pieces to your "watch list". Also, while perfectly happy with the Miyota 9, I agree Wise should try to stay in the price bracket they've become champions of. Thank you for chiming in, come back again!
2024 is gonna be a great year for micros, and my collection! hoping to add a casio oceanus, citizen promaster full ti with the 9000 movement, glacier alpinist, bulova jetstar, helm komodo, wise with the adamascus steel or 904, rze, signum.. i mightve left some i cant remember atm. also this year i would like to build my own GS diver homage, 62 mas homage and a king seiko homage.. lastly i would like to improve my skills towards watchmaking, not just building/modding/fixing, and manufacturing by hand. thank you Toni for an excellent video as always! 😀 btw, this year the channel is gonna explode! mark my words! we will have atleast 5000 subs b4 the year ends..
Leave some for the rest of us, man! 😂 Looking forward to reviewing your first watch as soon as possible! Thank you for your continued support, and you nailed it by writing "our channel". This is the way I always felt and I'm grateful to everyone's involvement in this common enterprise. Thank you! ❤️
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (or as youngsters say "how the turntable... or the table turns...or how the tables have turned...or ...nevemind, you get it!") Nice, nice, nice. In fact, very nice!

Those Vesterhav pieces look amazing. The hardest thing is deciding on which one to buy!
I wholeheartedly agree!
Cool video. Good taste in microbrands. I have few of these propositions on my list also :)
I wish there was one more microbrand mentioned for 2024 ;)
Have faith!
