I have searched for over a week to have an install that was this informative. Thank you thank you thank you!! Subscribed and going to be an avid watcher now! Love your wife getting after you! Couple goals!!
The quick fuse holder was the "issue" with the lights not working because you have to use 2 fuses in it. I have a few of those installed in my superduty. It's essentially 2 circuits in 1 housing.... Just so you know for future reference.
Nothing was mentioned about them being left or right specific or not? I've had issues seating headlamps on JK's properly cause the head light buckets have the headlight alignment cleat cavities in different spaces right vs. left. Subscribed cause it's nice to see another North Carolinian on the tube.
Nothing was listed as left and right and they seem to be working fine so I’m guessing they are universal but I can’t confirm. Thanks for the subscribe if you’ll send us your address on Facebook or Instagram I’ll mail you a camp naked decal.
I’m sure there are better light patterns out there but I still feel this is better than stock. All of the “decorative” lights seem to be about the same as far as output
@@DownSouth_Adventures I felt light the distance wasn't far at all so I contacted support and they are sending me Height adjustment screws. But ues I love the way these look just need to make sure I can see at night.
Question, I have the same light on my indian and ran into the issue where the projector bulb stopped working. It would flicker and turn off but if I would tap it it would work upon continuous tapping, have you had the same issue on your yet? Its almost as if the internals shook lose, just wanting some feedback on this specific style light. Company sent me a new one but read a forum that mentioned a resistor to put in line? Not sure if thats the case?
I'm trying to install these on my xj. I'm having trouble getting my bluetooth to connect. Any tips? I've tried powering the bluetooth controller directly from the battery like you suggested but I still cant figure out how to get it connected
@@DownSouth_Adventures Even when I connect the power and ground from the bluetooth controller directly to the battery, it still doesn't show up on any devices
Great video guys easy to follow very informative. Very detailed. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the kind words Paul!

Thanks man, these things are still running strong!
So satisfying!!!
Right!
Wasn’t the cord it was your ground. The nut you had put it on was for your fuse box power. Not a ground

I've had that same seating problem. However, it was just with the passenger while the driver sat just fine
@@JamesSmith-uc8nt Jeep JK oem headlights are left and right specific.
Hey man at 17:10, what did you plug that red cord into? I am having the same trouble.
I believe We had it straight wired to the M6 fuse…
So just remove the black adapter connector cord and go directly into fuse box?
@@hollywiley3676 that should work
I love watching you guys and your video's. But I find it hard to hear you guys a lot of the time. Any chance you can get a better microphone setup?
We’re definitely getting some new equipment
I just installed the 9 inch versions on my JL. Curious how you feel about the low beam display and distance?

@@Texansgal1 The 7 inch seem fine but I will be installing the 9 inch version in a friends jeep soon so I'll definitely be able to compare.
@@DownSouth_Adventures gotcha. Yeah I'd love to hear your thoughts on the output.
I just purchased the this on Extreme Terrain , but they don’t bring the controller. Where can I get the controller ?
Maybe Send them a message on Amazon
what do you mean when you say you just plugged it in for the bluetooth to work?
I'll have to reach out to the owners of the jeep to see where he plugged it. I know they are still working fine in their jeep.
Very nice review! Good seeing you and the @spartanoverland_nc group together for this review/install. Good stuff brother!
Thanks man!
I bought a pair of these lights but I'm missing the boxs where can I buy them if u have a link please share thank u
You’ll probably have to reach straight out to Sunpie to get spare parts.
Are there matching fog lights ???
I haven’t seen any yet but I think the company Empire off-road has some cool LED fog light options.
how is the light pattern?
It seems to be as good as any of them. They are still holding strong
What are those fenders called?
Those are the bushwhacked fenders.
How come Daisy gets a cool power tool?
Cuz they got more tools than we do!
Are they 2 left headlights or two right headlights?
A right and a left lol.
Where did u plug the bluetooth connector into? Directly to the fuse box? If so, how?
I don't know how I missed this question but yes I think we plugged it into M6 or M7.
Hi. The lights drained my battery , is there anyway I can fix that problem? Please help!
Hmmmm did you hook them directly to the battery or through the fuse box?
@@DownSouth_Adventures the Bluetooth works and All but we had to unplug because it’s all leading to my battery

No issues with these so far, I hate that about your luck!
@@DownSouth_Adventures dang! Well thats good news to hear then! Hoping I have better luck with this second light!
I just installed these lights and my halo ring doesn’t light up at all. Would you know why??
I’m meaning the smaller ring on the inside of the colored rotating lights.
By any chance did you try a different grounding location like we did?
@@whitneygreene1781 Mime only as turn signals smh
How do they light up the road?
They do a really decent job, much brighter than factory
The RGBs stopped working almost a month after installing them. They don’t turn on (tried the remote and the app, removed the app and re installed it).
That sucks man , these are still running fine on Cody’s jeep. Did you contact the company?
@@DownSouth_Adventures I did, but by the time they contacted me I've already return them, got them via Amazon...

Thanks!!!
these headlights keep turning my car battery completely off while i’m driving
That is crazy I have no idea what could cause that.
Wife is a cutie ❤
Thanks!
This looks incredibly illegal
You have obviously NEVER been to Florida or a Jeep show… it’s absolutely not illegal
These headlights low beams and high beams are absolute dog shit. Definitely do not recommend
We still use them to this day with no issues, The cut off beam is weird but you get used to it
