Wow, what quality. I grew up in Saskatoon and went to tech school (Kelsey Institute back then!) with farmers. The knew how to build things and put them together in the right way- I bet a few of them have worked in the shop along the way. I don't normally watch 21 minute youtube ads, but I enjoyed every minute of this one!
Thanks so much for watching, we're glad you enjoyed it!
Impressive quality of workmanship and materials used. Unusual for American motorhomes. Well done. ....from UK
I will be looking at this little gem in spring of 18. I am so glad to know a dealer is just across the state line basically from me. I like it, and will probably settle for this coach.
Great design! Stunning cabinets. The bathroom is the selling feature. Rivals the unity IB.
One of the best videos/class B RV I've ever watched. I want one!
And totally agree with him about slide-outs. I love this xlbm model!
This is my favorite Motorhom.Thank you for this beautiful presentation! All the best and a good year!
Thanks so much for watching!
One of the nicest units I have ever seen. I wish you could give the MSRP. Plus you are the best I have ever seen at giving a video tour. Also, I agreed with you on slide outs.
$145k USD
Great bathroom. Really pretty inside and out. Love the outside hookup for the propane cooking. Storage inside is amazing.
Great floor plan. Love the cabinetry and counter space.
Best murphy bed I have seen. Well designed bed front and no noisy hydraulics, plus a good looking electric jackknife sofa.
NOOOO slid outs . good logic.. Would like to see more insulation as people are now living in them
Yes!!!
Thank you so much for the tour around such a nice RV and for browsing through your awesome company. God bless you Pros :)
Love the quality and craftsmanship of this motorhome. :-)
Been looking for awhile and this might be the one. It has almost all the features we'd like. Love the Murphy bed and the large bathroom with separate shower. I completely agree on not having a slide out. I've owned RV's with a slide out and they all develop problems after a time. The Mercedes Benz chassis is a great foundation for any RV. Reliable and fuel efficient.
I'm also quite pleased to know that it's made in Canada.
My wife and I will definitely be looking at one in the very near future.
Thanks you for the great tour.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. Glad you enjoyed the tour! If you ever have any questions please don't hesitate to send us an email: info@pleasureway.com or give us a toll-free call @1-800-364-0189
I retire in five years. This is the rig I am buying. Considered the TD but gotta love this MB. 😊
Give that Sales fellow a raise. He is a top performer. Smooth like buttah. Nice RV too.
soving lol he is the CEO of pleasureway
I've always leaned towards a full sized, monster RV, but after watching your videos I'm really seeing the virtues of a smaller, better designed camper like yours. My neighbour has one, and it always attracts my attention when I go by. Hopefully, one day, I'm a customer of your fine product. It just seems to be exactly what my wife and I need.
This looks really really great. One of the best vans I've seen
Yea, good for touring I am sure...or vacations. But not idea for perminant living
why not?
WayneP117 Why?
yeah, why not?

Wow. beautiful ride. Love the Murphy bed concept & that bathroom is huge! When I hit lotto expect a call, lol:)
stonedcommander when I hit the lotto I'll share with you so you can have one of these
I like the shiny cabinet doors
When the time comes to buy, I'm buying from you! Terrific product!
WOW! The only thing I think I would change is instead of the black water tank, I would want a composting toilet. Perfect coach! I'm sure it is very pricey as well!!!
Beautiful!! No need for a slide because it's wide enough.
wow, love the shower most!! great job.
Stunning interior...just stunning! Love the "PRINT" awning, TUFTED couch detail, CORIAN shower walls and Japanese reminiscent PANEL doors /bed wall that are far nicer than solid alternative. Fantastic half radius column at the galley edge is elegant. Simply the most beautiful interior available ---give those designers a raise! Negatives for me is not having a level floor all the way through the coach, the refrigerator without a separate freezer compartment plus drawers and frame holding the couch should match the cabinets for a more solid and cohesive look with the rest of the coach.
absolutely beautiful
.best I have ever seen
I'd like to see more insulation in these units to help with the heat and cold issues as well as the underside for those who may use them for an extended period beyond the traditional summer.
YES!!! Me too!
Was that ever done on the newer models?
The Murphy Bed makes so much sense to me. This one is definitely my choice. The sad thing is it seems like every year they just keep getting more expensive. Guess I will have to wait until these are a few years old and try to buy a used one.
LOVE the bathroom!
Very nice and appears to be well constructed. The Mercedes diesel is certainly a plus.
For convenience, the refrigerator door should open the other direction. Right hand door instead of left.
Nice job. Love the small class C's.
Great walk around video...Beautiful coach !
Thanks for watching Rob!
very much a positive feature in my opinion that there are no slide outs. As a single woman going on the road with retirement, it is just something else to break. This looks like a little miniature studio apartment, I just think it looks so comfortable. I wanted to pay cash, but the price of this may force me to finance part of it. However, it would be worth it if it is as nice as it looks in the video. How long is the wait if you have to order? Thanks, I know lots of questions, and that this video is on the 2017 model.
Do you think this would be a good be a fulltime RV? And is there a way to make it a 4 seasons RV?
My same question
I think all of the Pleasure Way class B models have all of the safety sensor options. It's only the class B+ that doesn't have the sensors.
Will a 5'2" person be able to reach into the upper cabinets and see myself in the bathroom vanity mirror?... Some type of back splash to the left of the stove in kitchen would protect the wood paneling.....Thank you!
Just one suggestion, add an arm to the TV so that it pulls out and adjust to different heights and angles
Sold! Really nice saw at RV show.
Excellent presentation !!! Thank you....
Glad you enjoyed!
As a woman,,, (LOL),,,, I wish the sinks in the bathroom had a cover (like for the kitchen sink) so that you can place your makeup bag on, flat iron,,etc,, as you are getting ready. In one way, I wish the sink was just replaced with a flat countertop as you can use the sink in the kitchen. IMO... also the sliding kitchen table does not really look big enough for two people.
Man!I really want one!good job!
Driv Naso: I wanted one too, till I saw the price.
TexasScout Noneofyourbusiness - what is the price??? Lol
absolutely gorgeous
Excellent technology! Would like to know if the extra storage and water. electrical outlets with locks (and locking gas cap). Regular gas required? Nice design and material nonleather a plus for vegans!
great design!!
stunning and l like the non slide as it is just one more thing to maintain
Beautiful coach and informative video. Do you offer stabilizer jacks and if not, what would you recommend?
What size venting pipe on the roof for the gray and black tanks? I notice it's just a open pipe with a cover. I was thinking about adding the 360 Siphon caps which creates a suction to help pull out any tank odors. Thank you
Would also like a place to hang a plastic shoe bag built into rig. Great storage and also keeps shoes off limited floor space.
This would be a great item to sell with rv
Ireally like this, and am currently looking for one near me to look at. Will Pleasure Way be putting in a black tank flush? Or is this available?
To go without slide-outs was a very reasonable and practical decision; however, an RV of this size and weight, in my modest opinion, but one based on many thousands of miles driven in Europe and in the US, limits it without a four-wheel drive that could be offered for a fair upgrade!
What type of locks do you have on the RV door? Does it include a deadbolt? Thank you
The front cab doors utilize the standard Mercedes power door locks. The side entry door we provide uses a two part locking system. The main lock is a deadbolt and the secondary lock will lock the handle.
Beautiful RV.. Cabinets.. Euro.. yes.!
My only question is why is the fresh water fill on the patio side when the water source is located on the driver's side???
Hi Doris, the fresh water fill is located on the patio side because the fresh water tank is mounted underneath the motorhome in that spot. The city fill is on the driver side because that is typically where the water source / power source is located when parked at a spot in a campground. Additionally, we keep the utility center on the driver side to keep all the connections away from the patio side, which is a high traffic area. Thanks for watching!
The exhaust for some reason looks too low. I would be afraid that I would lose it going over a small bump. The TV is also in an awkward postion. I think a true (one piece) Murphy bed (like this one) is really the upcoming thing in a smaller motorhome. those drop down beds on the Class A's are still too high for us older guys.
Very nice..Motor home..! Thank you..!
thank you do you sell these wonderful vehicles in Europe? they are lovely .
is the fridge connected on 12v to the batteries? and is it possible to increase the batteries to 400ah?
That's great that you have the Truma AquaGo water heater. Which model? I don't see a option for a ladder on your website! Do you have one? Thank you
We use the Truma AquaGo 'Comfort Plus' in all our models. We do not offer a ladder but that is something you can get through an RV dealer. If you are thinking about adding a ladder to the Plateau XLMB, you should let your Pleasure-Way dealer know because we would need to make modifications to the unit to support a ladder. This would need to be a factory custom order as we do not build them with support in place for a ladder. I hope that answers your question!
Thank you. You should put that into your home page as the Truma is a great water heater to have and a selling point! That's great information about getting a ladder!
Pleasure-Way Motorhomes with solar panels that require periodic cleaning, a ladder would be a nice piece of standard equipment. Add it to the cost.
When owning one do you have to get it inspected yearly such as we have to do with heavy trucks? thanks =D
Hi Totally Left Field, our motorhomes do not require a yearly inspection as heavy trucks do. However, it is important to follow the Mercedes guidelines on service intervals for the coach, which can be found in the chassis manual. Also, Pleasure-Way provides maintenance guidelines and recommendations for proper service upkeep on the motorhome. An example of an annual maintenance procedure would be to check all roof vents and hatches to ensure the caulking is still in tact. I hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Bed is smaller than on the plateau XLTS?
I have a couple of questions, you say the refrigerator and the air-conditioning or not hooked up to the inverter. You say the refrigerator can run off of 12 V. Does the refrigerator run off the lithium ion batteries? Or does it run off the automotive system? Also, can you stream Bluetooth music to the audio system while you're driving? Can you stream it to the Blu-ray system throughout the coach? Thank you very much for a great review I really like these.
Greetings! When the fridge is set to 12 V (DC) it is drawing power from the lithium battery bank. It does not run off the automotive system. The fridge can also be set to run off LP gas and AC power. Regarding Bluetooth, it is only capable of connecting to your phone for making and receiving phone calls and not for streaming music. The Blu-ray player is only connected to the TV and does not sync up to the Bluetooth system of the front chassis. Thanks for your interest!
wonder if someone could live in this year round anyone know!!
I know,,,,, that is what I want to do.
I love it!
why not use a Nova-Kool? I see you have solar and lithium batteries.
Does the XLMB have a plug to plug-in external Go-Power solar panels "GP-PSK-120". Thank you
The first thing to note is the Go Power solar controller we use is only capable of providing service up to 30 amps. If you were to max out our solar panel option and select five, 95 watt panels with the Plateau XLMB, the controller would be at capacity. If you had fewer than 5 panels, the solar controller would still have capacity for additional panels.
Regarding the ability to plug in the GP-PSK-120, we use the standard MC4 branch connectors to attach the solar panels on the roof to the controller inside. If that kit you reference has the ability to plug into a MC4 connector, you would have the ability to install a parallel branch connector (extender) and add another panel to the system. Of course, this depends on the load the controller is already receiving. My recommendation would be to contact Go Power to make sure the GP-PSK-120 kit can connect with the standard MC4 connector. I hope this helps, thanks!
Thank you for all of your replies that I've asked for.
No problem, glad we could help!
Hi Richmond, we currently only offer the 30 amp Go Power solar controller. Five solar panels is the max we can fit on the roof for now. We don't offer additional lithium batteries as our electrical system was designed around having 200 amp hours of power. I have also sent you a direct message through your profile with the contact information of a Pleasure-Way representative that will be able to assist you with any further questions. Thanks for your interest!
Are the in-dash systems Android Auto compatible?
Will the RV fit in standard parking spaces and is it easy to drive in the city?
Greetings! Yes, our widebody models will fit in a standard parking space. They are only 22'9" from bumper to bumper so they won't stick out. We speak more about the size in our Plateau XLTD video, which is the same body. You can find that part here: goo.gl/9k7gyl Thanks for your interest!
amazing, no slide outs either
How large are the holding tanks? Also size of propane tank/ tanks? Thanks
Hi Nan, you will find all tank capacities on the Plateau XLMB page. Click the 'weights and measures' tab under Plateau XL specifications: pleasureway.com/plateau-xlmb/ Thank you!
I'm a fan of the fantastic fan.
I like the slide out with the Leisure Travel Vans. I think you need the extra room with the Murphy Bed.
I now have a Christmas list
But, how much does it cost??
How much for a pre- owned unit?
Does the XLMB model have tire pressure sensors? Thank you
The Plateau XLMB does not have tire pressure sensors.
i wanna buy this!
i like these rv's, in this 1 however the tv is in an awful position and you would get neck strain sitting straight on and having to look to the right to watch it.the 1 that rises frm the cabnet directly across from the couch is at perfect height and direct on for vewing.i really wish i had the capital to get 1 of these babies
wow...how much for this unit?
I hope they never change the design and details of this RV.
where can I rent one ??
Very nice. Usually I prefer European made RVs because too many US ones have clunky or cheap looking interiors.
is this for a family?
There’s no price for this quality MB RV !…
how many people can this RV hold on a vacation trip?
Hi Eric, the Plateau XLMB has only two seat belts and is designed as a two person motorhome. However, our standard body van models each contain four seat belts. Those models are the Plateau FL, Plateau TS, Ascent TS and the Lexor TS. Thanks for watching!
do you guys have WiFi finder and satellite???
We do not include either of those. We do include a automatic digital TV antenna, but not a satellite. Thank you.
do you have a screen on the door and Windows?
Hi Teri, yes, the side entry door has a separate, fully aluminum framed screen door seen at 6:37 in the video. The window by the side entry door and the window in the kitchen area both have screens attached. Thanks for watching!
No Safety Side Mounted Camera's for 2017, are you kidding me! Pleasure Way is Better than RoadTrek in my opinion as far as Build Quality but you guy's need to advance the 2014/15 technology, RT eliminated the need for an Old Fashioned Inverter for 2017.
So you expect Automakers to give us $4,000 or so, depending on what the option(s) are for free? Really? Just ... here's an upgrade to a free TaG axle Diesel Pusher but you'll only pay for this. Or if you're too cheap to buy the power windows, power locks, collision warning ... you want the dealership to just put it in & give it out for free!
very nice..... one big flaw... frig opens wrong way
Fridge doors are easy to switch
Fans don't actually remove moisture per se...a common misconception. In humid climates you need air conditioner or dehumidifier to get wetness out....🤔
The refrigerator door opens the wrong way
That's it, no more searching. I just found my dream...
can u hook up a WiFi modem into the motor home
Greetings! We currently do not install any Wi-Fi / networking devices into the coach ourselves, but there are many options for handling mobile internet usage available. For further information on the subject I would suggest doing some Google searches to find out what other RVers are using for mobile internet. Thank you!
Plywood... nice!
and the plateau xlmb 2018?
The 2018 XLMB video just went live today: bit.ly/2HuSI2L Thanks for watching!
really very nice.
Thanks Judy!
What is the length I am looking for 22 or 23 feet.
Hi Katie, the length of the Plateau XLMB is 22' 9" from bumper to bumper. All our models are under 23 feet in length. Thanks for watching!
Do you have an outlet close to the Canadian border?
We have a dealer locator on our website you can use to track down a Pleasure-Way dealer nearest to your location of choosing: pleasureway.com/locator/
i'm going to get one of these and go around spreading the good book
the cost?
Hi Laura, the MSRP for the 2017 Plateau XLMB is $140,270 USD / $145,470 CAD. For more information on pricing be sure to contact your local Pleasure-Way dealer: pleasureway.com/locator/ Thanks for watching!
I want this. Do you think a woman by herself could manage this? Literally, I have no man skills, but I can drive.
Hi c sikomas, yes! You can absolutely manage this yourself. If it is your first RV then there will be a learning curve getting used to the typical duties involved, but the size and maneuverability of our motorhomes makes them incredibly easy to operate. In fact, we have a great set of videos where we talk to our owners about owning and managing a Pleasure-Way motorhome and I think they will provide some good insight: goo.gl/GepIF2 I hope the videos help and thanks for your interest!
c sikomas why the heck not? I haven't seen anything that would cause a problem.
I am a single, old lady that compared, then bought a Leisure Travel Van. Same price range as Pleasure Way but controls and features that I find are SIMPLE to use and better located above the entry door. I have the CB (corner bed model) ... 53X76 comfy bed I can flop on at anytime, plus the shower is 33" wide. With "zero" experience, I have taken mine from CA to Montana and back. I suggest if you buy one, get one off a dealer lot, delivery from the time I ordered one from the factory was 7 months. I am so confident driving the Mercedes Sprinter Chassis , I tow a tiny Fiat Abarth. Go for it!
I spent 60 days on the road in a van I converted to a rv myself. THIS would be so easy to live in. Go for it. P.S. I'm 60.....
"Man Skills??" What year do you think this is, 1957?? Jesus, you give women a bad name!
Do recommend any type of wax to use on this paint finish? Thank you
We don't have any specific recommendation for wax to use. We use Glasurit automotive paint on all our motorhomes, so a wax designed for automotive exteriors would be fine to use. Thank you.
