I usually buy Samsung SSD (or Micron because it's easier to find in my area). Any reason I should switch to Hynix?

They're all competitors against each other lol.
Maybe the warranty is more enticing? SK Hynix has 5 years warranty for the internal SSD and 3 years for the portable SSDs

Consistency is the main reason.
Sk Hynix is extremely consistent with regards to read and write speeds.
