I love Seasonic. Really good products
Yeah, never had any problems with them. Long warranty and them making all of their units does vouch for me trusting the PSU to last 👍
The atx 3.1 spec is mostly a change to a specific header type on the PSU.
New header/socket is called 12V-2×6 and lots of atx 3.0 already have it anyway... It uses the same cable as before too! So I guess in those cases the PSU manufacturer just needs to print new boxes that say 3.1 - but higher number = better.
Newer header is supposed to be more resistant to the human error that caused some of the overheating cases that where in the news.
In terms of power delivery, 3.1 has less stringent requirements than 3.0 according to the quick google search I did.
So it's technically inferior in terms of power delivery but more idiot proof.
Noctua power supply. I’ve seen it all ! 😊
@buyingastairwaytoheaven5252 You and 80 other people voiced it on GN's video for their new CPU air cooler. But I bet your case looks like unicorn vomit with RGB lights.
@@buyingastairwaytoheaven5252 I'd normally agree with you, but I see some potential to accent these new wood-trimmed cases.
Noctua branded power supply. Looks awesome. Shame you wouldn’t be able to see it in my system
That’s some system showcase near the end of that video. Insane looking system.
Gracias Leo!
Love Seasonic. I always buy them. Prime are my favourites. Thanks
Kitguru
I really like those dragon and cherry blossom PSU's. There is a large Chinese population in the UK; that apart we've been crazy for that kind of theme in table and cookware for 300 years in the UK. Someone tell the fools at Seasonic they are missing a trick here; release those in the UK PDQ and I'll bite their hands off for three of each minimum!
Yeah they are very stylish and cool looking. I read Kitguru review on them and was disappointed to hear it was only Asia. 😢
I love Seasonic. The prime was my best buy in recent years.
2.2 KW PSU! Thats pushing right up against what you can draw from a standard 110v outlet in the states.
It would hit a uk socket hard too. 3k is close to their limit and might even trip some meters. That’s space heater level
A little surprised it only has one power cable socket. Wonder if there's a version with a 400v input.
Nvidia are probably looking at this & their top end cards & "hmmm...."
@@Karibanu Jensen: It's a free real estate, the more you buy (4090's) the more you save (space for additional PSU's)
I love that noctua supply. I want it
I would love it. But 1600 W? It will trip a breaker at full load in a North American house. And the non-Noctua version is USD 540, which compares poorly with a good $180, 1000 W Corsair supply.
Love Leos intro fascinating power supplies are a contradiction in terms.
Really like the noctua grill.
The psu with noctua fans is interesting 👍
We’re going back to the good old days of the lights dimming slightly when you switch the mountain of a PC on.
That PX2200 looks like a proper monster! Wonder how much thats going to cost?
Really good looking noctua psu. Very different. Bet the fan is great too
I love the last case with the external fans. Those are the systems I look for. Also love the 3,300 rpm fans, definitely buying those. 🥰👍
My dream case, tho, is the Corsair Obsidian 1000D and the new version 9000D. 🥰
@@TwstedTVcool. Just curious to know what cooling hardware you have going into it l. It’s massive inside !
🥳🥳🥳
Looking forward to seeing that monster PSU in a build. Why would it be so expensive though? What components are going in there that adds to bill of materials like that?
Did you see the build at the end ? Mental looking thing.
Will the ATX 3.1 have updated/revised 12vHpwr GPU cables, so it won't melt with nvidia GPU? Can't believe that none of the PSU makers didn't voice any concerns with the melting 4090, but Nvidia doesn't forgive any OEM stepping out of line I guess?
2200 watt I thought computers were getting less power hungry and more efficient!
do you know when will they start selling the 2200w PSU?
We haven’t got an exact date on that yet but we review a lot of Seasonic power supplies over on the main website www.kitguru.net so you will see it there first
2200w - just in time for 5090! For serious work... gamers!! 😝
2200 watts is more than my house pulls
I REALLY, REALLY want a power supply with a Digital READOUT of the current power loadouts & INTERNAL Temperature/Fan speed. NOBODY needs a gazillion connectors with 50% of them that you'd NEVER use once everything is plugged in.
clash of titans: SS and Noctua..
that "FUXK" is certainly a riddle, if it's China originated, then it would be closer to "FUSHK" (SH read same as word "she")
i believe seasonic's AI brand...i mean what else do you want to use a 2.2kW power supply?..to play poorly optimised, full of microtransactions pc games?
Fraților pe noi cei care va privim canalele nu ne interesează expoziția ci produsul final,,cum al construiți,, ce piese puneți,, cum se numesc și prețul lor,,,nu ne interesează pe noi cesi expun alți produsele
Those are called system builds and we create those as well. This is an event in Taipei showcasing the latest products. If you have no interest in seeing the latest tech just released then go watch the build videos?
This is as much a heads up so you can start planning those builds and get ideas for builds as much as anything. I get where you are coming from but if you are given lemons you can make lemonade!
Some amazing products
I'm really glad to see PSUs with 2x 12vhpwr connectors. I don't want to upgrade PSU until I find a deal on a 1200w+ version with at least 2x 12vhpwr.
