- It started innocently enough. I just wanted to see how far my Grey Squirrels could jump. I heard that you had to put a feeder 10ft from a fence or tree. In my quest for knowledge I found out that one squirrel had all the determination in the world and finally beat my squirrel baffle.

I have a squirrel with a scraggly part by the base of it's tail. I call him Wingnut.

That's incredible. That squirrel neither deserves life or met a quick death.

I use a .177, 9.5g pellet....
I used a pvc pipe for a bird pole, squirrels can't climb the thick 6 inch PVC hahaha. Also you can get those 5x5 vinyl white fence posts at home depot or lowes and they look nice and squirrels cannot climb them

did you measure that distanct? ten feet? I just had a nine foot jump success from our squirrel
