- While in St. John's this week, we decided to visit Port de Grave where my father in-law was born and every year they have the lighting of the boats. Just check out the play my wife and her siblings had. They must have been half mountain goat... Perhaps if I was wearing my good hikers I might have tried scaling down to the little beach, but perhaps I might have filmed from above. LOL it must be my wisdom shining through.... Haha...
Can't stop watching this 1 what a wonderful area
❤
Lovely Day For A Road Trip With Family, Many Thanks, Charlie ! ATB T God Bless
And same to my friend, hope all is good in your neck of the woods
Port De Grave is a thriving fishing community. Did you check out the museum while you were there. A walk back in time. Everything the early fishermen used was hand made. Talk about innovation. Great video.
We never got to check out the museum, a person needs much more time to explore this areas and everything is has to offer.
Very nice video. Quite familiar with that area. Very scenic.
it sure is a beautiful area indeed, but a person needs days and weeks to fully explore these areas
Marvelous video! Thanks for sharing. I was born in a house about 200 feet down the road from your Nan's house. Actually, it was a bit scary watching the video, since I fell over the cliff in front of your car about 65 years ago! Yes, my playground too! Tumble tumble, but only several cuts!
I loved filming this video, such a beautiful place, but you need about a week of hiking and flying drone in that area to capture all the footage you'd need to do it justice.
Some great spot
very scenic

Really enjoyed that look at the boats Charlie. Thanks, Mike.
Mike these boats are just so well painted, all works of art.
@@NLGhostWolf We just don't see that out here on the west coast. We have some nice boats that are well maintained but nobody goes that extra step like those ones.
I live in Winterton, about a 45min drive from Bay Roberts.
Beautiful area, just reaffirms the need to explore all the little towns and coves this province has to offer.
Heading out there this summer for a couple of days
