I was in the MRP,MTC, CIP in 1989-1990. Long Bay stunk of tobacco,piss & manstink. It must’ve taken me a week to get use to the smell alone & the noise was horrible. Slamming cell doors, gronks yelling & fighting. I hated every second of it & decided then & there I would never come back to prison.

In the early 2000's Lonbay M.S.P.C was pretty hectic there was a lot of tension in the early 2000's some would say there was a small race war going on with the Kooris and Lebanese vs Asians and Islanders Nathan is right it was hectic there than it's the oldest section of Longbay Jail it was known as the C.I.P now named M.S.P.C those yards were so small and old they would flood sometimes out in the yard do you remember the yards flooding depending how much it rained?
@@bevanb4609 Thanks for correcting my spelling I didn't go far in school lad my spelling is subpar at best didn't you know that's one of the big reasons on how the government knows how many jails/prisons to build they go off statistics if you can't spell have some sought of behavioural disorder etc there is so many highschool drop outs like me in prison i left school in the beginning of year 8 it's deeper than people think and it's like that all over the world prisons built on statistics
Try going in the CIP in 1983 as a 18year old I was lucky as my dads mates and everyone I grew up with were there so I was ok plus I had the best buds that helped me out then down Goulburn in 96 that was Bosnia the killing fields that was hectic time in there
