I literally never thought I would see the day that a hardcore, mainstream physicist would describe humanity as "ethereal". Truly shocking. Congrats to him, this is amazing work.

I love listening to people with world class imaginations like Wilczek.

Gosh! Frank Wilczek is brilliant! ..... And I still can't tolerate Lawrence Krauss

Thanks for sharing the lecture! To viewers: I suggest putting the video at 1.25x speed or 1.50x speed for a more enjoyable experience. The option is available in the lower right corner of the video.

I absolutely love that Frank's work confounds his esteemed colleagues who themselves are at the forefront of discovery
Aside from Noam Chomsky, I consider Frank one of the most underappreciated scholars

Thank-you Frank for mentioning that we are children of the ether.
Maxwell's ether is at the source of every thing meaning the source of the infinite energy source forming what we call an atom and all the rest of what we see and cant see of the whole universe.

I like Wilczek's illustration of how a computer program can represent many dimensions, yet it's just a 1-dimensional string of ones and zeros. And even that string can be represented without dimensions, for example as a single number.

Love how Frank giggles every time he's struck by how weird what he's speaking about is

These 'fluctuations' 12 minutes in; does this relate to Dewey B. Larson oscillating particles?

Frank sometimes seems to regard Laurence as being a bit too sensational. The matter discussed doesn't need ANY added sensations, because it is already mind-blowing.
A big thank to Laurence for this serie!

I can't blame him. That type of conjecture is an utter waste of time. These are popular ideas, but that's mainly because they sell well. With the work that Frank has done, it's pretty clear that he has come up with some fundamental knowledge that is useful, in the absolute sense. The things that Frank works with in his research is just way, way way ahead of the intelligence curve even amongst his colleagues.

12 dimensional stability is very difficult but 4 is stable state. 5 dimensions are portals.

Hello, there was an artsy image of a woman on the edge of a cliff looking at the universes. Can someone please guide me to the source or the artist.

at 14:00 : makes me think it is just like "rogue waves" that you do not have normally but sometimes emerge out of the normal waves interactions .... so out of the "virtual" particles sometimes a real one emerges like a rogue wave that disappears afterwards ......

Will quantum computing allow us to develop waveform based mathematics instead of perpetually trying to quantify analog waveforms with inaccurate strings of digits?

    Space Is Not Empty
Maxwell's ether - is a substance (medium) that supports electric and magnetic fields.
Einstein's spacetime - weighs, warps, bends and rings.General Relativity made spacetime a dynamic material.
QDC (Quantum chromodynamics) - space is filled with a condensate of quark/anti-quark pairs.

@@georgeR3Roadster Could it be possible that if it's a particle and there is a medium in space, that the particle looks like it's behaving like a wave but actually it's just "riding the waves" of the medium. Look up the reproduced double slit experiment with fluid dynamics.
