I am constantly impressed by your story-telling, Yuka. It's my favorite part of your videos. I nearly laughed out loud when you complained about not being by yourself in the woods when you arrived at your campspot.
You're not the first MTB UA-camr I subscribe to who has done bikepacking. But you're the only one I know of who took bikepacking on a regular mountain bike trail. Everyone else usually packs super light and sticks to simple routes and not going into areas where you would hit a lot of techie stuff. I appreciate that you didn't let the difficulty of your route determine your bikepacking goals!

I love bike packing! I noticed you use a back pack. So do I . Packs on the bike make riding the bike on trails very difficult. Food and camping this is when food is greatly appreciated. Coffee in the morning the best 😁
It reminds me of when I tried to ride on the Appalachian trail. It was only good for hiking so I pushed my bike 95% of the time.

I do a lot of bikepacking myself young lady
And yes there has been many many occasions I had to climb up heels with my bike because it was just way steep to ride
Everything harder you have no idea just try with a 75 lb backpack
But it is fun

To me, this is the most original mtb channel out there. You don't need the perfect bike packing set up and route, just get out there and do it like Yuka.

Ya Yuka!! You really hit a home run with this video heres why. We have so many places out of Vancouver lower mainland and With Covid in town for who knows how long, lets get out of town. My situation at work for summer holidays is well...No holidays in the summer because of seniority rules, Im now looking to purchase an Off road trailer and try to find remote spots to ride, for weekends only. 2 days is still not enough, but will have to do for now. A 2 or 3 day loop would be fun, whether its drop off and Send, or climb and send. I say drop off because Climbing and me are not friends. lol.

BC is much easier to bikepack! we don't have to carry much water❤️️ but Florida has nice much nice place to swim after sweat...except in the ponds with alligators
@@VanGirlYuka There's a few springs (like ginnie springs) you can swim that are amazing and almost always have no alligators lol. The nice part about BC is that you have so much access to so many spots from everywhere.
