My deepest condolences on the passing of your grandmother. May she rest in peace and may you always carry her love and happiness in your heart. What wonderful moments together...you, your sister and your grandma's bike. Thank you so much for sharing the sights of your beautiful countryside. Those were some serious steep hills!!!! Well done!!!
It felt like Grandma was on your shoulder on the uphills... telling you to "hang on, you'll get there."...on the downhills she flew off saying "We'll see you later" She must have been some woman for you to fo an "honor ride" of such great distance and meaning.( I wonder if she would have liked the food ? They are so fussy as to how a meal is prepared.Thank you for sharing this touching video. Safe travels
Awesome video!! I mostly ride MTB but sometimes I turn away from the trail and go do some adventure riding, this gave me that vibe, beautiful scenery and what a great tribute to your grandmother.
I'm sorry to hear that you lost your grandma but i hope you have lots of happy memories of her. I would love to see more videos from Japan, if possible, as it seems like a fascinating country.
Hi Yuka, sorry about your grandma, but what a nice way to say goodbye doing this ride of your old neighbourhoods. When I was in high school I got my grandma's old bike and rode with my friends up and down hills and forests long before MTB was a word. Keep your chin up and have fun. Greetings from England, AndyB
I'm sorry your grandma passed away. And even though I think it's amazing what you are doing I'm sorry I had to laugh as I found it quite hilarious to see you riding that bike. I never expected such a transformation from mountainbiking but I guess it's what going back to your roots looks like. A great video to honor your grandmother!
Hi Yuka. I'm so sorry about your loss of your grandma. Sounds like she lived a long prosperous life. So sorry about your break-up with Eric, but I know you will rebound and do great things in the very near future. 🥰
懐かしい、ね? Riding down that long straight road from high school probably brought back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing. I lived near Fukuoka for a while many years ago so it was nice to see and hear a bit of Japan again. Looking forward to visiting again soon :) Glad you and your grandmother could go on a bit of an adventure together.
Im sorry to hear about your grandmother yuka. My condolences to you and the family. I am glad to see however that you still haven't lost your appetite. 😂
Sorry for your loss, but it was interesting to see you ride this long without a single gap jump. You're still a very good narrator. While you were in Japan did you ride any MTB trails (not on your grandmother's bike), that would be interesting to see. I look forward to your continued adventures and がんばって ! ☺
My condolences Yuka, for sure you have a lovely childhood with your grandma. Same as my happy childhood with my bmx bikes (in the 70s and 80s) with Japan made parts lthat were really really so tough, but were quite pricey though. Love to see more you cycling in Japan 😍 Power on!
🇺🇸🌏🎊Yes Yuka🎉I'm similar now too, I'm back on my late dad's🏜️reservation🇺🇸and these bikes are indeed different, except one thing, like Grandma, Grandma had baskets👍 Basket=Luxury so simple but make life easier. Much love Yuka you're personality speaks volumes of you, loving caring, like Grandma, I'll say, dEAr💞🇺🇸
Need to do an E-bike conversion to grandma's bike !!! Your sister would love an E-bike to ride with you !!! Between Shimano,Panasonic and Yamaha I think a Sister Sister sponsored ride videolog is in order for ... 🤔
Sorry for your loss Yuka! You should ride in Hokkaido, I'm currently bikepacking here!. Definitely set up better for bikes. Drivers are quite courteous. And omg there are so many places to ride!
Liked the video, a good change from your Mtb stuff. It also reminded me so much of cycling first on mamacharis and then a hybrid for years around Tokushima. First sightseeing then mostly drunk.🤣🤣 The scenery is almost exactly the same. I’m somewhat homesick for my little inaka city
I’ve been to the Konyaku Park on the way to a seminar meet-up in uni. I got food poisoning soooo bad (probably not from there, as I was the only one) so that’s all I can connect it with 😢 I’m happy your experience was so much better and you made some amazing memories with your grandma and sister.
Would love to seem more videos about riding bicycles in Japan, especially from an MTB riders point. NHK has a series of videos about riding road bikes. There are some Japanese language MTB channels, but I’ve not found too much mountain biking in Japan content in English as I would thought was out there.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Love that you did a tribute ride for her.
What a lovely way to honor your Grandmother's memory. Glad you were able to be with her before her passing.
What a way to honor your grandmother. Great content, Yuka.
Best bicycle video I’ve seen. Thank you for that.
Sorry about your grandma.
Great to see a tour of your home town via bike. Riding is the best way to slow down and really see the sights.
Your Grandma would be pleased. Thank you for taking us along.
My condolences on losing your Grandmother Yuka. It doesn't seem to matter what bike you're on, you turn it into a thrill ride! 😊
Very enjoyable riding along with you in Japan. Sorry for your loss of your grandmother.🙏

What a wonderful way to remember your grandma - and captured beautifully too!

What an awesome way to honor your late grandmother. Cute bike too
Video is so perfect because I love bike rides and seeing so much of Japan

This is like first time she did not crash or get hurt. Stay safe Yuka.
お帰りなさい!
Lovely video! Thanks for taking us on that journey with you! Best wishes to you amd your family!
My condolences on your Grandma. Cool bike ride. Very scenic. This trip reminds me of the opening episode of Yowamushi Pedal.
Excellent video as always people seem so nice in Japan makes me want to move there, love your new glasses you look so cute❤
Thank you for taking us along on this beautiful ride honoring your grandmother.
Great video; condolences on the passing of your grandmother!
おばあちゃんと一緒に走れたの良かったね!
I like seeing you on the not so crazy jumps. I like your bikepacking adventures...
Sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother, I'm sure she was proud of both of her grandaughters!!!
Great vids!!!
仲良し姉妹で微笑ましいです😊
ユカさんの時折出てくる「よっこいしょ」いいですね!

Hi Yuka. I'm so sorry about your loss of your grandma. Sounds like she lived a long prosperous life. So sorry about your break-up with Eric, but I know you will rebound and do great things in the very near future. 🥰
Her bike would make an amazing restoration build, such a cool bike and great vid.
thanks Yuka
What a nice ride. Must bring back some great memories. Grandma would be happy that you honored her in this way 🙏🏽🖖🏽
おめでとうございます!45 km on a small mamachari is so hard. Those handlebars make it impossible to go uphill. It's a great tribute to your grandma.
12:00 to 12:40. Daaang I wish more UA-camrs would do that in public. Blurring faces? That's so nice

Great way to honor your Grandma, loved seeing your home town :) Did you get to see the Yam Man?
去年、ロードバイクで碓氷峠に向けて安中市を通りましたが、富岡市も良い景色ですね。
群馬は良い山が沢山あって良いですよね。
形見の自転車も遠出ができて喜んでいたんじゃないでしょうか?
You are a very sweet woman. Happy you are choosing to remain a part of the TuberVerse.
Will you be doing a complete guide of bike trails in Japan? The updated ones perhaps? Heard there are some in Niseko now.
Love this Yuka! Let’s bike in Okinawa ☀️
My condolences on the passing of your grandma, may she rest in peace.
By the way, how much travel does that bike have?
My condolences Yuka, for sure you have a lovely childhood with your grandma. Same as my happy childhood with my bmx bikes (in the 70s and 80s) with Japan made parts lthat were really really so tough, but were quite pricey though. Love to see more you cycling in Japan 😍 Power on!

My feelings and preying for all yours family 😢
Condolences, Yuka.
And please tell me you're in Japan more this year to show us more of MTB riding in Japan? I think it'll be awesome!
Cool bike, cool vibes. Sorry about your grandma, keep her in your thoughts. That’s not far from where I’m staying.
Your videos have never about bikes. They are about inner journey. I love this channel.

Wow, I did not know Japan had 7-11's. The first one was in Dallas, Texas in the Oak Cliff area.
Lovely!!!

I am sad to hear about your Grandma's passing. 😢
I lost my grandfather in 2021.
Nice ride 😊👍🏻👍🏻
So happy to see you ❤
Great video! Great way to celebrate life. Cheers from Saitama, not Coquitlam anymore :D
Hang in there. I’m sorry!
I spent two months riding my bike around Hokkaido. It was great. I really enjoyed the Japanese culture!
Sorry for your loss Yuka! You should ride in Hokkaido, I'm currently bikepacking here!. Definitely set up better for bikes. Drivers are quite courteous. And omg there are so many places to ride!
SEND IT!!!!!!😂

迷わず立ち止まらず進めるね。
さみしくなったらまたおいで。😊
Are you still in japan come ride with us yuka san
That is so nice you are riding her bike! and you are riding a safer bike then doing the dangerous MTB stuff you used to do
In a way it is a beautiful metaphor.
