    WHY did you make that poor Cleopatra wait 5 YEARS before letting her meet Zachara? That's cruel.

      Love takes time, it's never a good idea to rush into something, they need to bond and build up something, even if they are separated and don't show much affection, it's more of a reason to give them more time.

      @@raionshishi8290 Love doesn't take THAT long in the animal kingdom, my friend. Their life spans can be short considering the stress of the lifestyle. Sure, they need to bond and what-not, but it does not take 5 years to do that. They need to establish prides and offspring as soon as they can before another male or female comes along.

    • @raionshishi8290

      @@adrunkgorillawithalobotomy353 I never said it takes THAT long, i just said that it takes time to create a bond when you have a situation like this. Just because they have a short lifespan doesn't mean they will be desperate to take whatever they can get. Some of that time was probably on the human side trying to consider their options and thought process on the matter and see how it goes. I'm sure those 2 already bonded enough by the time they decided it was ready to let them meet. Still doesn't mean it's safe to just rush into it.

    Crows are awesome. I feed my gang daily, but have yet to score a gift. 😂 There appears to be a feeding hierarchy...and when the big guns come in, they are deadly silent! They love crunchy Cheetos but I try to give them healthy food (walnuts, good quality cat kibble, cheese cubes, cashews). They do love cooked penne pasta or rigatoni, especially with cheese sauce, chunks of pot roast, chicken pieces. I like to spoil them. They know me, and my car, my whistle.

    Great video! Love the penguins and wolves! However, the dogs vs. wolves test was skewed: the bowl used for the dogs was much smaller than the bowl used for the wolves, which can be a bias toward the wolves. To be a true test, all the parameters have to be the same for both sets.

    • @barbaragreene6592
      @barbaragreene6592 4 роки тому +1

      PLANNERADDICT1969 : You are correct about the wolves. Also in the test dogs verses wolves, both dogs were males in the dog test. In the test with the wolves it was male verses female. In tests between males n females, a lot of time they won’t fight like they would if both were the same sex.

    I've known all my life that each and every animal has its own individual personality; just like people. I've always been surprised that the scientific community, and others, didn't realize this. • @sharonkaczorowski8690
      @sharonkaczorowski8690 4 роки тому +4

      Yes, but there are poachers everywhere...that’s why you see gauges are Ed with automatic weapons in so many reserves...I wish they would go after the the kingpins...going after the poachers, while necessary isn’t enough...I’ve seen photos of rooms ruff if animal parts when they bag the kings-ins...it’s organized crime.

    • @leighsacia2003
      @leighsacia2003 4 роки тому +3

      Yes but the fences aren’t to keep the lions 🦁 in its strictly to keep the poachers OUT! it also isn’t a typical “reserve” from what I understand it’s one super large 4,000 kilometer enclosure instead of what you usually see which is multiple smaller enclosures with the animals organized by prides and those who get along...then they rotate them to keep them getting bored and some even take one group of lions at a time out to walk outside the enclosure for enrichment, allow them to hunt if the opportunity. It’s loads better then a zoo but still sad that this animals natural habitats are dwindling, add to that human lion conflicts (farmers bordering lions territory loosing livestock hunted by the lion then retaliate and kill the lion), the bush meat trade, poachers and canned hunting are the difficulties facing wild lions today. Most people don’t know that there are more lions IN captivity then in the wild now and bloodlines are being destroyed by captive breeding practices like breeding white lions...by pairing siblings, moms/sons, fathers/daughters, cousins ect just to get the white coloring...when it’s stupid because the white gene is carried in regular tawny colored lions & occurs naturally. It’s the hunting trade that has pushed them to the brinks of extinction which has fueled the captive breeding programs. If your interested in learning more about lions 🦁 I’d suggest checking out the lion whisperer Kevin Richardson 😊

      Leigh-Ann Parker lions pretty much only live on reserves. There used to be around 50k lions but because of hunting there is only like 2k or something like that. Part of me wonders, if you fed the crows day after day, and always wore the same color clothing (let's say blue), would they start bringing blue colored objects, because they associate you and the food with the color blue?

    I thought this was going to be about LIONS, not all of the other animal species. I love animals, so that’s not the problem.....I simply expect the title to reflect the content! Is that too much to ask?? Apparently so!

    It was a good video BUT I am disappointed that there was not more on the lions. As the title suggested I thought this was going to be all about the love of the 2 lions. Bummer :(

    Cleopatria is a spitting female image of Kinky Tail Mopogo, wow, any Mopogos ever make their way to Limpopo? In a relocation possibly? Clearly not KT, but Rasta & or Dreadlock? She also resembles Mopogos daughters, The older Othawa females. Coincidence I'm sure.. . 👀

      Now that you mention it, Bright Night, she really does. I don't know if The Mapogo's did go Limpopo. But I definitely can see the resemblance!
