Like women , they're all different, requiring their own specific approach. If its not doing what you want or need it to do, for god's sake, don't hit it and start yelling at it, or throw it in the lake! Trade it in for that wide screen TV and stereo entertainment system you always wanted but wasn't allowed to have. You already know your wife still doesn't know that you already bought that FFS UNIT, anyway! Sometimes, it's time to act like a man again. (if you're still in control of your manliness) (if not, nobody wants to know what happened to it, keep it deeply guarded secret)
IONIC 16V battery question, do you have to disconnect your positive and negative connections before charging or did you put in a on/off switch? Thank you
I did put a switch in but only because the graph cover would turn on my graph and run my battery down. As long as I had the graph cover off I never had an issue and no you do not need to disconnect anything to charge.
cool story now show that same thing working on the UHD cause i will tell you #1 you wont see your lure much past 60ft #2 you will never see the "splash" because of lag on the UHD. And yes i turned off all the ghost tree noise reject and tvg its still lags
#100percentwatchsquad Very informative video! I'm really looking forward to putting FFS on my Bass Buggy. I already get a lot of looks from other anglers for being the only pontoon boat on the lake rigged out for bass fishing. Might as well go all the way!
@BassGeek lol maybe basic for you , I've been freshwater fishing now 3 years, so I'm kinda new to this . But maybe on how you can tell the difference from a bass and everything els that shows up . Fine tuning to really get that separation
Great info and settings in this video.. Best info videos on UA-cam in my opinion because the info includes all the local bodies of water that I fish... Keep em coming...
I can't wait to get mine. It's still going to be a little while. I'm for sure going to watch this video again for the awesome looking settings. Awesome video, buddy
Just picked up my Garmin panoptix from Basstank 😮 Can't wait to get it all set up and ready to go. Thanks for another very helpful video..#100percentwatchsquad
Hopefully one day I will be understanding all this forward facing sonar biz. I do have a garmin on my rig. But I need to upgrade and hit a lottery. # 100% watchsquad!!
That's very cool! It would be nice if your foresight would sync with the Garmin trolling motor when you need it too and work independently at the touch of a button. #100percentwatchsquad
Ive been trying to get use to mine. Ive tried allsorts of positions and setting and i can't hardly see my lure. Every once in a while i see it. You need to let me come to you and you try and set mine up. Its very frustrating brother 🎣🔥 #100percentwatchsquad
OT, but I have a question. After 10 years away from baitcasters, I bought 4 baitcasting reels and 4 rods. I bought Abu Garcia Vendettas, two medium and two medium heavy. I have several of their spinning rods, which I like. The problem I have is that the front part of the split grip is shorter than I like. The meaty part of my hand projects past this part of the grip and I constantly have the feeling that the rod is going to squirt forward on me. Is this a known problem that some people have? Can you recommend any comparably priced rods with longer grips in that area? Or do I need to just start buying single piece grips?
So there are some that are a little longer but not by much. The split grip are designed to give you more feel from the rod. I don't now how true that is but that's how it was sold when they first started pushing them out. Now are you holding the rod exlusivly from behind or are you wraping your hand around the reel?
Ok. So there are some rods out there will longer mid or upper sections tot he split grips and at some prices around wht you are look for but I don't think they will be long enough for you to be honest. I also cast a lot of baits with one hand (crank baits, skipping jigs). I would try moving your hand up and puting one to two finger infront of the trigger, if you don't already. I show how I hold the reel in this video. Now I cast with two hands in this but I do cast with one hand holding it the same exact way. I do think the only other option is to go with full length butts. Sorry sir.
If you fish waters that has any kind of chop dont put your transducer that high, you will lose your picture completely every time your boat bounces up and down, thats why Garmin recommends it be 6'' under water. If you want to see your bait splash when it hits the water theres a setting that adjusts how deep your transducer is, set that to 0.
If your on a BIG lake where the trolling motor is coming out sure but I fish TN river to SW VA Hartwell in SC and Cumberland in Ky and have not had an issue with the Caymas. There isn’t a setting in graph for that you have to turn your transducer up
Nice job explaning ! Helped me out quite a bit . Thx Hank !
I hope it did

@@BassGeek be sure to let us know what firmwere vers he is using I suspect the 2.74 might be casue of the lag

With your transducer so shallow and 1 to 2 clicks up what is your install depth?
I have it at 2in but don’t change it when I click it up or down
@@BassGeek do you set your install depth on the graph?
❤❤❤
Thanks

Strictly from behind. I usually cast one handed, too. @@BassGeek
