I spend $85 a month on gas for my HC Don’t drive it much. Had to down badge it to a GT as well so no one tries to steal it.
Tgats the gayest shit I've ever heard. You bought a hellcat and complain about mileage. Lmao
the calipers are a dead giveaway though
@@Tareaque Nope. Changed those as well.
@@DeepDishPizzaexactly what I’d do 😂

Thank you bro for taking the time and making this video! Like really you give most if not ALL the information that some of us potential future buyers have been looking for. I’m tired of hearing ppl talk about the same things, thx for giving genuinely good information bro
I'm honored to hear that my friend I'm just glad this content can be of value. Please take care!
I agree. I'm a potential buyer and this information was extremely helpful.
I’ve been looking for this channel. Best car reviews for a wide range.
I'm honored my friend glad this content can be valuable to you!
Excellent review fam. I was actually looking for a Hellcat Charger and came across your channel and you opened my eyes tremendously. Thank you very much for all your info. You have now have a new subscriber. ✌️
Well thank you so much my friend I really appreciate your love and support. I'm just glad the content was valuable to you, God Bless!
Very Informative mate!
Glad you think so my friend!
Always loved this motor. ❤
Def an exciting engine sadly, very expensive now
Im currently driving the 22 GT. Im ok with the V6 303hp. It's still fun to drive just quiet. The awd is what got me
Thank you for this!!
Not a problem my friend
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
this was an amazing video you got the like and sub 4sho
I’m glad the content was valuable my friend and thanks again for your support!
I 👍🏽 😊 really appreciated the content.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend, I'm just happy this content can be of value you!
What would your recommendation be if i live in europe and want to buy a hc. Is it better to buy a new , or a used one?
I've had my hellcat for just over a year (22'). Only problem I've had so far is back up camera wigs out more than half the time. And now I've got this hum/whine when I start it up. Last about 10 minutes.
I replaced my Backup cam the day I bought mine. No issues.
Dodge/Fiat = Trash
@BruceDragon-sf1tr I've got many trash cars. A new hellcat, new wrangler, new mustang, 65 gt mustang, 66 restomod mustang. All garbage
@@mekrobar7872 😎 Congratulations
Great stuff, thanks! I am thinking of maybe buying a 2017 Charger Hellcat, seems to be the best bang for the buck to get that great engine. The trick like you say is finding one that has not been abused. Maybe do a video on that.
Great video - thanks for all the points you hit! I know you warned us about early year model hellcats - what is your opinion on buying a 2015-16 Hellcat with under 10k miles (they usually range around 60-65k)?
For about $70k you can just get a new Hellcat my friend and perhaps even negotiate a $5k discount on a 2023 model year which will be 8 years newer with full warranty and 0 miles but won’t be very desirable with cloth seats and narrow body
@@MeynMotorGroup new 2023 hellcat or scat pack for $70k?
@@gutterfilms9060 def go with hell cat although I have heard some insurance companies charging crazy rates so depending on your age and record scat might be cheaper and save more on buying price
Hellcat owner here.
2016 model year.
64,000 miles currently and everything that has been done on the car
Fuel rail Replaced
Fuel rail Sensor
Both Fuel pumps replaced
Injector O rings replaced
Clutch and throw out bearing went out at 60,000 miles
Spark plugs were changed at 63,000 miles.
I had extended warranty and honestly it paid off but It still sucks.
And right now it's currently at the dealership for a potential drivetrain issue, that or a cv joint.
It started vibrating on acceleration.
I came from a scat pack and had way less issues than the hellcat.
Good analysis. Check the 2018 msrp vs used same year……out of warranty likely beat pn cost the same…
Fantastic presentation on the Challenger Hellcat. For a new 2023 707hp Hellcat - with conservative, careful driving, would you be more optimistic on the long term reliability? I plan on taking very good care of it, driving only about 1,200 miles annually. Thank you.
Yea I think so my friend buying one new and taking care of it will be your best bet at a max reliable Hellcat especially when driving low miles like that
@@MeynMotorGroup Thank you. The front loaded car loan information was very enlightening. Like a mortgage, the first few years are mostly interest. When financing, you need to hold on to the car.
@@SL-vi4tk yea I really wish more journalists would mention that regarding car buying this is the biggest issue with used cars as there are no incentives, warranty costs are high, higher interest rates, and the problem compounds when knowing how banks front load that interest. In this high interest environment, most are better off leasing or financing a new car with a discount.
Honestly these reports are over blown. People that buy these cars have great pride in them, so of course any little thing will be reported. Follow the maintenance schedule set by dodge, use your brain and common sense.
what's your opinion on 03-04 terminators, c6 zr1, 13-14 gt500?
Haven’t driven those mustangs but did drive a 99 Trans Am and that was amazing and C6 corvette is also incredible honestly more fun to drive than the C7 and C8
Excellent overview and a lot of great information - thanks so much. As a previous 2018 Challenger owner, I can say that the build quality of the vehicle is not great, so everyone should expect that things will break, no question
Glad it was valuable my friend and that's awesome you got to enjoy a 2018 Challenger def some fun cars but yes certainly a few things to be vary of
2018 Challengers have problems. 2017s don’t. Which is weird.
Yo bro 🫡😎 and I didn’t forget you on those videos 🤝👍🏾👍🏾
Appreciate you bro def would like to get your thoughts on the Widebody Challenger looks compared to Mustangs and Camaros 👍
@@MeynMotorGroup Ok bro got you man bro I got some catching up to do 😅 but ima get their 🤝😎

Good info.. Why would someone be paying over $1000 mo, Steve they putting anything down on it?
I bought a 2016 hellcat with 10,000 miles on it March of 2022 I feel like that was kinda a deal am I wrong ? 50,000 flat
hell cat problems are people abuse them dont maintain them properly and drive them like they stole them at all times
I have a 2022 Super Stock. It's awesome and basically a 2018 Demon. It's I feel a better value than a Red Eye by far.
Massive congrats my friend! Very special car
The allure of a Hellcat is the hoonigan nature and supercharger whine. I originally ordered the lime green but they couldn't get the matte hood. Hindsight I could have wrapped it.
The ZL1 is a much better performance car but something about that truly retro Chally wins the curb appeal.
I wouldn't dare buy a used Hellcat... they've all been beat TH up
Perfect summary my friend agreed 100%
I would buy one used do my homework an enjoy the car....i need one for my collection
My Body was made by FISHER
But it purchased a 2022 Dodge Wide Body Go Mango Scat Pack Challenger 392 in January of this year. Would LOVE to have a Hellcat Wide Body Last Call and for what these dealers are getting for the “Special Addition” ones like I bought , you can get a Hellcat for the same price, … I liked , commented and subscribed 👊
Massive congrats my friend that is a beautiful scat pack and thanks again for your love and support!
The special edition pertains to the Shakedown and Swinger
Almost bought a 2015 till I saw this thanks
Glad this helped my friend!
On my 2nd 2015. Drive both like I stole them. One had 24k when I sold current one has 14k. Zero problems with either.
Don't forget to mention a Garage and Keeping these cars Properly maintained including Clean and Detailed will also Save you Money in the end. I also purchased a 7year Low Miles Service contract because this is my Play Vehicle not a Daily Driver.
Work at a Dealership so I've seen repair costs Skyrocket!
Also Do Not Finance your Warranty if you are putting money down, pay for the Warranty if possible.
This whole video is great information but you can make a Difference in your reliability by keeping on top of maintenance and repairs, soon as you let things go you might as well Sell or Trade the car off!
Not Every Dodge Challenger has all these issues either, but keep an eye open for whats reported and make your decisions if you actually do strt to see these issues!
Why would you need a wide body? It adds weight and mark up to the vehicle go with a staggered set up. A wide body adds no value to the car it's still 717 horse power at the end of the day 8,000 dollars for fender flares and 305s. Two rims and two tires may you have 1,500 dollars in going the cheaper route.
Better resale value, better looks, better traction, better package, the benefits of a WB are pretty simple and clear to see shouldn’t really have to be explained.
@MeynMotorGroup Wide bodies are marked up 5 to 10k narrow body are marked down 5k and I got tires, rims and stage one kit 757 horse power for less than the Wide body opinion. To each their own I like the standard body better
@@frankwolfrum6301 enjoy my friend
@MeynMotorGroup Thanks I will the video had some good information. Nice to know where to go to see service bulletins.
those fender flares are fucking ugly. they look like an afterthought.@@MeynMotorGroup
I am a BIG fan of the Hellcat. I had a very fun and loud 392 Charger with the Daytona package.. it was the closest thing I could afford to a Hellcat, same body, different engine.. after dealing with electrical issues that had no end in sight, I bought I gently used BMW and haven’t looked back. As always, everyone’s experience is different, shop wisely and MAINTAIN YOUR VEHICLE for peace of mind. If you cannot afford extra money on tires and other items… stay away. These are expensive toys/hobbies
The FOMO car. Dodge keeps saying they’re done making them for the past 4 years
😅😂 well looks like this is really it
haha yeah last call screamed the factory workers!!! till next year... @@MeynMotorGroup
My credit union approved me for a charger rt 2013 2 years ago I have no doubt they will approve me AGAIN for scat or cat considering I have Georgia united AND Navy wont have a issue Carry on
I talked to a bank 3 months ago they said they were not lending on 2016 cars and older
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Nice but I’d rather an amg
At these prices I kinda agree or just get a ZL1 for less
Those are a lot of problems for 80 to 100k. Ill just get a GTR. Smh
Talk about upsidedown, buy a Benz or Jag.
That's not the primary point that was made.
The make or model is irrelevant it's the way interest is designed on an auto loan that I said was dangerous.
All the interest is front loaded on a car finance so a person taking a loan out for 60-72 months like most people, will have next to no equity built up in the first 3 years because most of their payments are going towards interest and very little to principle.
Yes this problem compounds when you buy luxury cars since they depreciate harder but even if you buy an eco turd, hellcat, ferrari, porsche, this is still a dangerous trap that pretty much everyone falls for.
BMW to
Whos going to want to pay 60k for a used 5 year old Hellcat? With miles on it and no warranty? No thanks
You would be surprised my friend this is how most people buy vehicles in the U.S. with miles and no warranty to save a negligible amount of money which they end up paying anyway through interest. Thought of a new car doesn’t even cross their mind.
Kind of like how people drive 30 miles to save 2 cents on gas or how people choose to rent an apartment 100 miles away from where they work to save $10 a month on rent when they were better off renting in the nicer area.
Negligible is right. I'd take the 60k and buy something new
@@garybishop4030 I would say a good 9/10 people are incapable of seeing that and understanding a seemingly simple concept like just getting a new car instead of overpaying for a used one.
I suppose it’s because so many make poor financial decisions that this economy is able to function and so many little industries can exist? Idk but credit cards paint the perfect example on where the average person’s head is when it comes to finances and in general priorities.
People won't steal Toyotas but yet lots of kias and Hyundai cars have been stolen despite that they are just as boring as Toyotas and Hondas.
People steal older Toyotas and anything TRD. So nice try.
Have you ever been in a new Hyundai? Take a look at the Sonata SEL Plus and N line. A lot more stuff going on there. Not boring at all.
@@DeepDishPizza I doubt it. Toyotas are not even worth stealing. Lol.
@@vintagetriplex3728 huh? Older Camrys and Corollas get stolen all the time along with old Matrix’s. I’m just going to say it, the Latinos, love those cars. Look it up!
@@vintagetriplex3728 Toyotas are worth stealing. Easy to mod and get after market parts. I bet you drive a girl car don’t you? An SUV maybe a Kia Soul or a new Dodge Hornet? Or maybe a jeep? All girl cars!!
Just dodge the Dodge
Nah you’re just going to end up dodging everything. Instead of dodging we should learn how to buy these things properly and actually enjoy life
LOL! These Stellantis vehicles are the official street takeover cars. In all the videos they are driven by African-Americans doing power-slides around the intersection. It all looks like fun but wonder what all that abuse is doing to the cars.
My new 2020 REDEYE HELLCAT CHALLENGER now has 55,000miles now, absolutely no issues 🎯💯 BUT I stayed on top of the maintenance way b4 manufacturer intervals. Change my sparkplugs at 25k-30k with colder plugs, newer jlt cai, rear diff amsoil, amsoil oil changes, etc.etc.etc,,,next up is trans service soon,,,,I do all maintenance b4 intervals 💯🎯it's not my daily , but it's still going strong from 2020🎯💯🫡
Big saggy v8😂
Just buy the engines an put them whatever you have..save tons of money 💰 😊
It’s super expensive for the swap…even with a rt or scat. Still brings you to hellcat pricing doing it yourself
