Tak!
Thank you so much for the support
Your channel is the best On the Camino. The combination of the street views and the drone give us a good sense of the journey.
You’re footage is very inspiring Efrén; so I’m hoping to do the Primitivo this year around about May; celebrating my 80th birthday! And you know what they say 80 is the new 60! So wish me; like I wish you ¡Buen Camino y Salud! 👣🍷👍😎
Buen camino Rogar. Enjoy your camino and tour birthday
Wonderful to hear, I’m starting in mid March and it’s my 70 th year, so yes I’m a youngster 😂
Oh, so good to hear you prefer the Norte :). I chose between those two and started the Norte this fall. I loved it, but a little voice in my head was wondering if I should have taken the other way. The Norte is pure magic.
Pulpo...I tried it this year. The served me a whole octopus in pieces, just the eyes were missing. "Oh, I'm sorry, little octopus", I was almost in tears. And the umbrella really is a life saver, thank you for talking about that in previous videos!
What a difference in less than a month. (I watched again your vlog arriving in Melide on your CF 2.0) We are living in challenging times.
That's why your vlogs are even more appreciated (apart from being awesome, spectacular, inspiring, magical..❤)!
Can't wait to see more Journey and long format videos (you "spoiled" us members😉). Also, so excited about your Patagonia plans! 🐌🌻
Efren, lovely vlog in a crazy world. Over the past 3 x years I have walked the Portuguese, Norte, Primitivo, Ingles and Muxia caminos and in my recollection, the very hardest walk was Soto de Luina to Cadavedo on the Norte, steeply up and down 9 x times! However, on the Primitevo, after a hard day, the climb up to A Fonsagrada would come second. Have a great 2022, looks like the Covid BS is collapsing quickly.
Thank you very much for another excellent series! Take care & buen camino! 👍
Stayed in the same albergue and ate in that restaurant too; 2019. I love how often that happens with the videos.
Comparing the Primitivo with Norte, it is not easy. Are both wonderful. The Norte is much longer with astonishing sea views. If we do the Primitivo together with the Salvador, as Efren and I did, then the Primitivo/Salvador can be comparable to the Norte. A very good option is to do the Norte and, in Villavicioasa, to the Primitivo.
These two Caminos and in a much higher level than the Frances, which is a commercial product.
Great work Efren!!! 👍 I think having choices is huge blessing for sure. Whether it's a great pilgrimage comrades or solitude in the nature, balance and harmony keeps us in check with peace/happiness.😊🙏. Big thanks and many hugs 🤗 from Corea, pk
Your video has been my inspiration to walk the Primitivo
Buen camino
Great analogy: "life is a stage..." I like it.
Excellent. Thank you! Blessings All 🙏
Excellent quality videos Efren, your various Camino series and your journeys are truly impressive. God willing, I shall be starting the Camino Primitivo next month and hopefully reach Santiago de Compostela in about two weeks of walking. This will be my first Camino de Santiago and I am really looking forward to it. Coincidentally, I was also born in Cuba and have been lucky to live freely in California, USA, for many years. Hope to share a cafecito with you some day! Buen Camino peregrino!
You're the best, Efren! Hoping to do the Primitivo this summer 2023, my fourth Camino. Love your vlogs!
thank you. you are going to love it. buen camino.
Loved hearing your reflections!
Excellent travelogue. Love the wisdom quotes at the beginning of each vlog, and the plotting of where you walked at the end. The content inbetween those two points was just great. It felt like I had walked the route with you and it certainly strengthened my desire to walk this route. I got a bit confused about having to view the 4 Camino Frances vlogs to get the complete journey to Santiago but susssed that out eventually. Thanks for posting.
Magnifico Efren! The Primitivo is definitely on my bucket list!
Did the Part of the Frances is 2018 and the Primitivo is the next one!
Best of luck
Hi Efren, Buen Camino. I always enjoy your video, very inspiring. I just finished Camino Frances in October 2021. Each step and place, I took always remind me of your camino. Thank you for sharing the journey. Hope someday, we meet somewhere on the path.
I don't really like pulpo either. XD Great vlog, Efren! Thank you!
Enjoying these very much. I thought the pulpo was good but I'm not crazy about it. Thanks again for your videos
Same here. I like it but not in the quantities they serve.
Ahhhh Efrén que pena que não goste de pulpo! rsrsrsr
Efren, You dont like Pulpo? Oh MY God.....bad peregrino....kkkkkkkkk
I do but in small quantities 😆
Is there an episode 12? Melide to Santiago?
You can continue to Santiago on my previous camino Frances 2.0. Check the playlist:

Efren, thanks for the great series on the Primitivo and Camino del Salvador. How do you rate these as a route between Leon and Melide versus the CF? Crowds on the CF may be an issue in 2022.
Nothing compares to the Frances. Del Salvador and the primitivo are gorgeous but they are also harder.
Thank you very much. I’ve watched Fraces 2.0 and seen the final 3 day walk into Santiago. Did you go home to the US after the Primativo? Or did you travel direct to another starting point? Cheers from 🇦🇺 I’m keen to see where you went next!
I went back home and in September I did the via podiensis of which I'm now posting the vlogs
Efrén, what trekking umbrella did you use and do you recommend it?
Yes highly recommend having one for those hot days. I used the gossamergear.com hiking umbrella.
Hola! Falta que subas vídeos en esta ruta cierto ? Este sábado estuve esperando el vídeo y quedé así :🥺 … saludos !
Aquí termine el csmino portugués. Puedes ver los videos correspondientes de Melide a Santiago en el playlist
Great video, no FFP3 masks?
Efren, if one does not have many days to walk, says about 2 weeks, is it possible to do part of the Camino del Norte and then join the Primitivo? If so, where to start??
Start in Leon and walk the camino San Salvador to Oviedo and then on to the Primitivo
@@Walk_with_Efren muchas gracias !
Why does your Camino primitivo ends in day 11?
Because I had already walked the section from Melide to Santiago a few weeks prior
Hi, where is the 12th?
There is no 12. I stopped vlogging once I reached Melide. You can continue to Santiago following my original 2017 camino, 2019 del Norte, or 2021 from Ponferrada series.
