This song takes place on Earth, in the year 2154. It is a prequel to the events of Conqueror.
Story Overview
There are citizens of Earth who know the war between the IGC and UNI is reaching a breaking point. They've built the first Titan, Anicetus, and they plan to use it to escape the Earth and find a new planet to inhabit. This will eventually lead them to Acheron. It is unknown if Acheron is actually close to their intended destination of Alpha Centauri. Before entering cryo sleep with the rest of the crew, Andara leaves a message for anyone on Earth who may be listening. The Soldier of Earth receives this message (and will later send his memories to Anicetus). As these survivors enter cryo sleep and begin their journey, the IGC begins their scorched earth policy which will end most of the life on Earth.
Its a first for me to encounter albums of a band that actually have a fictional lore/story behind them, awesome.

This is just proof that, in my eyes, Mechina has one of the most prolific, and staggeringly high quality, track records in the metal community. I don't know any band that creates so much high quality music so quickly.

This could theoretically be a pretty cool music video, although it'd probably have to be edited to fit people's attention span better and not get repetitive with the imagery. I keep imagining a play through of human history, showing our greedy, our violence, our will to dominate, our monuments, our achievements, going up through the ages, interspersed with imagery of the great things we do and the potential we have, as well as some beautiful space imagery or something during the clean vocal parts, between which the nuclear war is shown. Then the final chorus is basically a rapid edit of good, the bad and the great of our history as well as imagery of the apocalyptic destruction and aftermath, stuff like that. That amount of grand and diverse footage would probably never go into a music video, even if it was for the biggest band/artist ever, but I suppose it could be at least a bit more realistic if it was done with stock footage or something.

Edit from 2023: Either it is "Yaralarım Sızlıyor" or "Günahlarım Sızlıyor" which means either "My wounds ache..." or "My sins ache..." Either way, it must be a referrence from Mahzuni Şerif's Değme Tabib Sızlıyor song which means "Don't treat doctor, it aches"
