Looking at all of the “precious “ objects that were ‘saved’. For what? So strangers could dig thru them and remainder passed to thrift stores? My mother used to tell me “we are all going to be dead a loooong time. Best to enjoy the things we have. Stop saving them! You think they are valuable… but to whom?”I wear all my jewelry, gave my mothers diamond rings to my granddaughters who wear them with a joy I never had. I use only my good china and silver..My tea time is special to ME! We can’t wait for special events-make yourself a priority. Stop saving things for your family HOPING they will love them. Ugh.. if they are pretty or bring you joy, now is the time! If now now--when? I don’t want to think of my saved beautiful items picked over at an estate sale.
Depends where you live.....you could be attacked in an attempt to steal your jewellry....in many places these days. Walking along a street wearing good jewellry may not be so wise.
I'm 77 and life is to short to not wear what you like. I wear my jewelry everyday and dress up whenever I can. I had breast cancer and a heart attack, so I look at life very differently now. ❤
I put on earrings even if I am at home wearing my "around the house clothes." I started this when my first son was born, just so I would feel a "little" pulled together! Great vid, makes me think....Every day of my mom's life she got up and styled her hair, made up her face, dressed, and spritzed a Lil cologne on! She believed a man enjoyed a woman looking her best! You are defintly a young 79 year old who is aging gracefully. I love to see all women of all ages, shape & sizes dress nice, and just be put together. It doesn't have to be expensive, fancy or extravegent. We have so many options from all price points to look nice. By the way I love your nails.

Right! I know people that will not wear there wedding set because its realy diamonds so then they get cz in place of it for daily wear. I never understood that. I understand it when you travel but just dont understand why you would spend that money only to not wear it everyday. I have both costume jewelry and expensive jewelry and I wear both.

She always said, " If you have expensive Jewelry you should wear it". 🙂 You spent your money and it will make you feel good to wear it. She was an amazing lady! The bling is gorgeous! I wear my diamond rings every day,a lady I know won’t wear hers because she is afraid of being robbed, that thought never passed my mind! That doesn’t stop me from wearing them and enjoying them! Antonella lived right down the road from me,before they moved on the boat! The older I get I’m enjoying my jewelry more and more.Everyday I dress for the day usually in Jeans a t-shirt and a sweater or a long sleeve rolled up shirt sleeve to that I wear an assortment of simple jewelry and a watch.Whenever we go out I’m wearing more of my jewelry and nicer separates I just turned 85 and get compliments everytime I go out .Thanks to you I feel more put together than ever

I’m 67 retired and wear my good jewelry every day! Mostly with jeans and a T-shirt😂 Also love putting on makeup! I just feel more like me! Beautiful jewelry! I have some Judith Ripka jewelry it’s so pretty also! Enjoy!

There were mornings I didn't even want to start my day. we lost our 39-year-old daughter 2 years ago on Christmas day The doctor called and said to be prepared to give our consent to take her off the life machine on Christmas Day. She lived in Seattle WA. 12 hours from where we live. 4 days later on the 29th a huge snowstorm shut all airlines down and closed the interstate. We were not able to be with her at the hospital because of Covid. I truly can hardly wait and look forward to watching your next video. Those little bags are cute. Now that I know the essences are Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Mint, I can go to my health food store and pick up the essential oils and make my own, OR, order a couple and just freshen them up as needed. It will be handy to have those on days my nose is stuffy. RE the BLING- I was one of those people that put away all the expensive jewelry (rings, earrings, necklaces) for the special occasions. Rarely wore my wedding rings (my hands always in water some sort of way -dishes, scouring, etc). Now that I'm older, I said to my husband, "what am I saving these for?" So, I've been wearing my jewelry more now. I just love them. I don't have much, but what I have is good quality.
I was a widow and the rider on insurance was very high. I am 77 and decided years ago to gift to each of 5 children, their spouses and my 6 granddaughters. I am extremely happy I made this decision 🎉😊

Thanks for the video. I've always loved jewelry. I visited a jewelry store yesterday that I discovered in my early 20s. I'll be 65 this summer. I retired last summer and only dress up when going to church or special outing. Tomorrow I'll start wearing my things, and spraying on cologne. I do miss seeing Antonella.

I’m 67 and I wear my jewelry everyday. Diamonds and precious gems. I love my jewelry, all gifts from my husband of 48 years. I’m retired and rarely go out, maybe grocery shopping once or twice a week but I sure do get up and ready for the day with my jewelry everyday. And let me tell you… multiple ring’s, multiple necklaces, layered and several ear piercings lol. I have always worn lots of jewelry and always will. It’s mine, I earned it and I enjoy it. Much love
Yes I wear my diamonds every day! I have been married 39 years and my husband just bought me a new wedding ring and it’s a whopper! I wear my 7 carat tennis bracelet and my diamond stud earrings. Yes you can see them . Over the years my hubby would up grade my jewelry to get larger . As our prosperity increased so did my jewelry 😊

@@mt.shasta6097 thank you ! Everyone please pray for me . I’m going into surgery on 6/21/23, at 9:00 am. What I’m getting done is back surgery he’s going to stabilize my lower back . I’ve got several unstable joints . I’ve also got a cyst between my L1 facet joint. Hopefully when they wake me up ill be pain free (except of course from surgery). They gotta cut some bone back there, but I’ll be out under a general anesthesia. I’ll be there for 3 days . God Bless everyone. Have a wonderful Sunday ❤

I used to wear cubic zirconia jewelry, and put my diamond jewelry away. But, I now prefer Moissanite to CZs because of its hardness and I love the fire of Moissanite much better.

I visit my area senior citizens center 3 to 5 days a week. Some eat lunch we sit and visit and most days we have a game or two going. I dress in something clean and casual and always have makeup and yes some jewelry on. It's really sad to see so many of the women neglect their appearance. A little bit can really make you feel better and when you feel better you live better.

I wear my good jewelry all the time. I started wearing it in the 1990s. I decided it was not doing any good sitting in cases hidden away. My costume jewelry is funky, colorful, and makes me happy. I figure if I am going to wear anything fake that I want it to scream fun. I think my favorite suite is wooden 🦜 parrots. Unfortunately I could only get a necklace and earrings but I later found a wooden bangle to match one of the colors. I have a real 14K White Gold Blue Topaz suite similar to your Aquamarine except my stones are emerald cut. Two cocktail rings that I treasure came from an elderly couple who emigrated from New York City to Israel in 1949. Both are 14K yellow gold and one is three large deep purple amethyst cut in odd shapes and the other is five large opals full of color. I rarely wear them because cocktail and formal parties are almost a thing of the past. I'm fortunate in that my husband has bought me beautiful pieces of jewelry over our fifty years of marriage.

Right! I know people that will not wear there wedding set because its realy diamonds so then they get cz in place of it for daily wear. I never understood that. I understand it when you travel but just dont understand why you would spend that money only to not wear it everyday. I have both costume jewelry and expensive jewelry and I wear both.
I pretty much stopped wearing my jewelry when I retired also! Usually just a small pair of plain hoop earrings I wear everyday. What you say makes so much sense! I have tons of jewelry and I’m going to start wearing it again! You look so pretty, and I love your nails too! ❤

you are so correct. My Grandmother was a jeweler for Block Brother's Jewelers in Akron Ohio for over 50 years. She always said, " If you have expensive Jewelry you should wear it". 🙂 You spent your money and it will make you feel good to wear it. She was an amazing lady! The older I get I’m enjoying my jewelry more and more.Everyday I dress for the day usually in Jeans a t-shirt and a sweater or a long sleeve rolled up shirt sleeve to that I wear an assortment of simple jewelry and a watch.Whenever we go out I’m wearing more of my jewelry and nicer separates I just turned 85 and get compliments everytime I go out .Thanks to you I feel more put together than ever

There were mornings I didn't even want to start my day. we lost our 39-year-old daughter 2 years ago on Christmas day The doctor called and said to be prepared to give our consent to take her off the life machine on Christmas Day. She lived in Seattle WA. 12 hours from where we live. 4 days later on the 29th a huge snowstorm shut all airlines down and closed the interstate. We were not able to be with her at the hospital because of Covid. I truly can hardly wait and look forward to watching your next video. Those little bags are cute. Now that I know the essences are Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Mint, I can go to my health food store and pick up the essential oils and make my own, OR, order a couple and just freshen them up as needed. It will be handy to have those on days my nose is stuffy. RE the BLING- I was one of those people that put away all the expensive jewelry (rings, earrings, necklaces) for the special occasions. Rarely wore my wedding rings (my hands always in water some sort of way -dishes, scouring, etc). Now that I'm older, I said to my husband, "what am I saving these for?" So, I've been wearing my jewelry more now. I just love them. I don't have much, but what I have is good quality.
I was a widow and the rider on insurance was very high.
I am 77 and decided years ago to gift to each of 5 children, their spouses and my 6 granddaughters.

Thanks for the video. I've always loved jewelry. I visited a jewelry store yesterday that I discovered in my early 20s. I'll be 65 this summer. I retired last summer and only dress up when going to church or special outing. Tomorrow I'll start wearing my things, and spraying on cologne. I do miss seeing Antonella.

Of course we've been married over 47yrs, and know each other fairly well I'd say :). But you really shine, you have retained your youth, and it beams from you each time I see you. I’m retired and rarely go out, maybe grocery shopping once or twice a week but I sure do get up and ready for the day with my jewelry everyday. I’ve got several unstable joints . I’ve also got a cyst between my L1 facet joint. Hopefully when they wake me up ill be pain free (except of course from surgery). They gotta cut some bone back there, but I’ll be out under a general anesthesia. I’ll be there for 3 days . God Bless everyone. Have a wonderful Sunday ❤

I used to wear cubic zirconia jewelry, and put my diamond jewelry away. But, I now prefer Moissanite to CZs because of its hardness and I love the fire of Moissanite much better.

I visit my area senior citizens center 3 to 5 days a week. Some eat lunch we sit and visit and most days we have a game or two going. I dress in something clean and casual and always have makeup and yes some jewelry on. It's really sad to see so many of the women neglect their appearance. A little bit can really make you feel better and when you feel better you live better.

I have man hands (always have) but love them anyway and sometimes wear my diamond ring. I need a safe place to wear my bling and some of it is fake. As it happens, today senior women are targeted for their jewelry, even if it's fake. What a world. Time to double down on my Krav Maga street fighing and self-defense. Women, be alert, be safe! And Patty, I'm shocked to hear that your nails are stick ons and your amazing lashes are real. Wow.
I wear my good jewelry all the time. I started wearing it in the 1990s. I decided it was not doing any good sitting in cases hidden away. My costume jewelry is funky, colorful, and makes me happy. I figure if I am going to wear anything fake that I want it to scream fun. I think my favorite suite is wooden 🦜 parrots. Unfortunately I could only get a necklace and earrings but I later found a wooden bangle to match one of the colors. I have a real 14K White Gold Blue Topaz suite similar to your Aquamarine except my stones are emerald cut. Two cocktail rings that I treasure came from an elderly couple who emigrated from New York City to Israel in 1949. Both are 14K yellow gold and one is three large deep purple amethyst cut in odd shapes and the other is five large opals full of color. I rarely wear them because cocktail and formal parties are almost a thing of the past. I'm fortunate in that my husband has bought me beautiful pieces of jewelry over our fifty years of marriage.
