- These are prob hardest to find pickups in game I never foudn them until yest by searching made a video of where they are.
PS this video has been edited note other are unedited only this 1 is to speed things up so it will jump between areas also i added how to save your friends :)
I might do new walkthrough later this week and try get 100% and in 2 hours and less I think it can be done if I practise more ^^ qwasnt even trying and got 86% in 2 hours 40 with mistakes. - Розваги
This game is where I got my *gamer senses*.
I now cannot play a game without worrying I missed something , and I have to check every corner and under every stone to look for stuff .
Isn't it weird how we all seem to have different secret items that alluded us? I always got these, but missed others entirely.
You missed the one in Ridley´s lair where you have to freeze and kill one of those wall monsters and walk through that wall. That is the only bs secret i can think of because the X-Ray does not detect the hollow wall. The rest you can find just by scoping everything.
The missile tank in Kraid´s lair is also easy to miss because his lair is so tiny and you need both the spring ball and nuclear bomb to reach it

I remember playing this game when it was new... First run was around a 75% completion rate, second got up to 99%. All found through exploration and searching and chatting with friends doing the same. All except for that ridiculous missile tank at 2:00. That one wasn't found in my group until one of the friends bought the official strategy guide...
That one's indeed hidden insanely well
Just for future people:
There is a turtle that glides up when you stand on it's shell in that same room. Wait for it to collide with the wall to the roght and stand on top of it. It will bring you to the exact height necessary to get the missile. Just remeber to shoot the wall to reveal the missile expansion.

Ive always wondered why random upgrades were hidden in walls and floors.
The one at 2:52 was the one I had the most difficult finding, but you are doing it the hard way, hope on that big turtle's back and it you can just ride it right up to the spot where the hidden missiles are at!
I love how he tries different ways here every time tho until finding something that works. It reminds me of Ravens, given a puzzle, each one find a unique way to solve it, some of which the scientists hadn't even thought of 👍😁
The first 2 items on this list are the only ones that I've never gotten in this game. Thanks for making the vid, will make my 1st 100% (which I'm attempting now) much easier!

I had absolutely no idea the first 4 existed. I've beat this game a million times since '94, including twice within the last month
Also, it is possible to make it through in less than 2 hours with 100%, I did it years ago, plenty of times, it is very possible and very easy to break the sequence in which you get items in this game by using Samus special moves like wall jumping, but I never knew about the last secret at the end, 8:22, nice find on that one!

Most BS pickup is @2:50 -some... note there's no dot on the map for that room, which normally indicates a pickup, and (I think) the X ray scope doesn't reveal that one, for some reason. You'll almost never come across it.
Other than that one item, best game, period. It just is.

The Audio in this video sounds godly. I don't know what it is. I think the key is off or something. I don't know what went on with the audio but it makes everything sound holy.

Most of these I found with generous use of the X-Ray.
Besides missile pack 1 in maridia, the missile pack in the bee tube in brinstar, and the etank in the basement, these are all pretty simple to find with the scope. Show how to get the missle pack im maridia that you need the shinespark to get.
My brother and would only get 99%. We always argued about what we missed, and where it was. Hahaha. There's three missiles in this vid I don't remember getting, but I 100% did not know about those animals at the end. Wow.
2:05 and 4:16 now i know why i always got 98%... T.T btw the last energy tank you got its always my first xD hehe

Not exactly the hardest secrets in my personal opinion. Sure, it requires Patience and practice to find These items, but if you are sorta familiar with the hints you'll quickly find them.
They count towards the games 100% completion. there in other games as well like fusion as easter eggs.

@28toroloco1 It's the spring ball item. You find it in maridia. It's pretty hard to find and it involves either having space jump or a lot of walljumping. You find it in the lower eastern tunnel with the big insect type creatures and quicksand. When you come across a room with quicksand and a grappling hook block you must grapple onto the block and wait for it to decay. Then jump trough the hole. Walljump or spacejump your way up. Now eventually go in a room with a robot. Use a power bomb here.
How do you get the super bomb in south norfair that you can see but not get to?
there is a puzzle above it using spring ball, use a powerbomb where you find the missle pack

Fusion doesn't just make reference, if you don't save them in Super, it's assumed that Samus dies in the end of Fusion.
It's to make it canon since they literally save you at the end of metroid fusion
