I don’t know why but watching how to maintain mechanics is satisfying for me.

A tip for cleaning the grip side of the board. Spray some (just enough to cover the area) kind of heavy duty degreaser fluid (Dasty Professional if you live in Europe) on it, let it soak for a few minutes and then clean it off using a cloth.

    It was helpful, indeed.

Top stuff as always! Any thoughts on after market bushings on a Dinghy? I put some soft cones on mine and have the trucks just a bit past tight enough to avoid wheel bite with the chunky plow kings on them. I'm pretty new so I'm getting used to being less stable but boi got tuuuurn. Looking forward to the next one! 🤘

I've always heard using the grip cleaner has the opposite effect on the grippiness of the board, first time hearing it makes it more grippy!

If your grip tape is less grippy because of dirt and stuff, the cleaner will for sure get it to be more grippy!
But if your grip tape is really old, It can rub off the grip and make it smooth and not grippy at all….
TLDR: don’t overuse the grip cleaner and it should help the grippiness

bearings with shields are supposedly just meant to be re-oiled with ceramic oil; for optimal performance, and to reduce any risk of bearing-shield friction due to bad removal/

How often do you do this process? Once a month?

Once or maybe twice a year

@Nicole, not often at all. But obviously if you constantly skate in really dirty surfaces than maybe a little more often. Otherwise I wouldn’t worry too much about doing this other than maybe every few months. Maybe 2-3 times a year .

Ogden please help me I already got razor tail even though all I do is cruise on it? I swear it's from the way I pop the board up to pick it up but idk how to not scratch it :(

What are some good wheels and bearings for a cruiser board? I tend to like soft wheels

I got the exact same board as you, been riding it about 3-6x times a week and it's more way beat up than yours....seems like u ride other boards more than your dinghy turbo

Thanks so much for this vid! Really makes the process less intimidating, which I think is what was holding me up!

Does the skate tool work on all types of boards? Like longboard, skateboard, cruiser, penny?
