650/1400 on just a tune and exhaust is wild, glad to know what my truck could do with a tune.
Meanwhile my L5P barely puts down 600 with all the bolt ons you can get on it.I’m going to say that dyno was off. Big time. Even if I had that LBZ I’d be questioning things. Clean truck though.
Made 631/1230 on my stock air and fuel lbz, just basic bolt ons and minor supporting mods
They can definitely make some good power

That's badass, especially in an 8000 burb!! We were honestly thinking the dyno was reading low because other trucks that day were low on numbers, but no real proof.
Pretty sure has to have a transmission tune as well but regardless amazing #s 😬🔥

I've been doing my homework on 01-10 and everybody says that anything over stock is starting to stress the tranny. 50hp is pretty much the max you can safely add before the tranny becomes a ticking time bomb
Pretty much, it depends how hard you drive it but that's probably true
06 and up had the low hp capabilities fixed by having a different modulator for line pressure at lower rpms.
This trans can handle up to 550hp safely from what Duramax Tuner said so that’s 175hp over stock

If yours is a Duramax it can handle a lot more safely

Hate to be a nay sayer but theres no way those are true numbers that truck probably makes 550 max dyno was crazy loaded or something. Thats one of those happy dyno's that gives you 100hp extra. And they do exist lol

A stock tune LBZ makes 360...I can assure you this made over 450. LOL
@@NaztyNate I own a Dynojet and dyno trucks every day. A tune only LBZ will not make 650 not even close. Like I said that dyno was reading way high, and clearly the operator has no clue as he said a stock duramax "almost makes 500".

With Idaho Robs 150 hp trans safe tune a few years ago I made 450hp-1200TQ all stock.
I'd believe you made 550 all stock, I'm not sure about 650HP. Anyway, that's a great number, def something to brag about, can you post a 1/8th and quarter mile time and trap speed please, it would really show what HP your at.

@@NaztyNate I used a Dragy high accuracy GPS on the street to get my times 4.35 0-60, 8.18.1/8th and 12.69 1/4 #108. Calculator said I was 600-650 wheel with Danville 68mm, built 750hp transmission with a DK TC and 250hp tunes on stock injectors and a 10mm CP3.

@@NaztyNate Because of science! If it’s a stock 6.6 Duramax LBZ motor it designed to put out half that amount of horsepower. If you believe this you may also believe in unicorns and the tooth fairy. Oh wait.. the tooth fairy is real and I know for sure because I got a dollar under my pillow when I lost a tooth as a kid but I’ve yet to see a unicorn or a stock Duramax putting out 600hp

I made 645 on it years ago with furl air built trans whole 9 yards .. there was trucks running on it that day that shoulda put up 900 horsepower making 400 lol
