Great Video. I wish I had done one when I was doing mine. In addition to the metal protectors on the cabinet it's a good idea to cut the decal around the holes so it won't tear there as well. Also if you have any questions about doing the back of the top and bottom cabinet to look original I can tell you where I got the silk screens and the ink for the yellow writing on the back. Great video!
pro tip: use a spray bottle and spray down the outside of the artwork with paint thinner before placing, it helps the squeegee glide across when making sure there are no air bubbles
Good observation and pointer for the next time we do this! Under regular lighting, you dont really notice any of this, and I believe the owner was happy with the end result.
Thanks for the Sub, id been following you on my own through the blog for a while, but just realised I hadn't actually hit the subscribe button on your youtube! We've got lots of cool stuff planned for 2017.
awesome, thanks for the follow and following the blog. Its much appreciated. Looking forward to more of your vids. Great stuff and keep up the good work. If you need anything down the road please reach out.
For sure! We'll have a "Let's Play" of that Monster Bash coming soon down the road, Our buddy was able to get it finished before his New Years party. Quite excited!
cause they made it way harder than it needs to be. I've decaled close to 100 high end cabinets and NEVER used painters tape. he has help that can hold the decal while the other applies it from the end.
Great Video. I am wanting to restore my Monster Bash . Who is the best vendor to purchase Monster Bash Decals from ? Please post a link if possible . Thank You , Rob Knapp
Rebuilt. original game had like 200,000 Plays. i played it before they rebuilt it, and I can tell you it was very sad. the wood was so worn around the scoop, you could fit a golfball down there almost. The original cabinet was exported to Germany, according to the sticker on the back. not sure when it made its way back to North America...
No need to peel the whole backing. You can do it progressively as you move forward on the vinyl!
Love these vids, guys!
Good work guys. Love seeing people restore old games & stuff

Thanks that helps, about to tackle this myself. Going to do Star Trek Next Gen on my cabinet.
great video. Where did you get the art work done? Is there someone locally in Canada that can print these?
Nice job, about to do my Pin#bot, wondering how you finished the corners, worried about them pealing
20:24 Texture city. You really should sand the whole thing with 600 grit to get a smooth surface.

These decals were purchased by the owner who had this machine before the current owner, so I am not entirely sure.
Can you share the graphic file?
Unfortunately We did not print this artwork. It was provided by the previous owner, and we simply installed it. Sorry!
Is that a brand new cabinet or just redone?
