Show 49 was pretty funny. I was surprised on how funny Jake was. I know someone else wrote his lines, but he performed them hilariously. Now send a SLAM EMOJI TO MOM. 😂😂😂
Now I'm going to have a ridiculous smile, every time, when i call out "on your leeeeft!" 😂 I've got to break out the jerseys again, cuz i got the belly.
Jake's delivery derivatively reminded me of Jim Carrey's eerily similar delivery in the "lifeguard on duty" sketch. It's definitely a conscious homage.
And that is why I'm in love this guy. I watched him throught his career and the amount of different, believable characters he has played and played well, is why I love him. If anyone can get this message to him. Tell him I'm in love with him. I would love to meet him one day. Perhaps go on a date
I felt like I briefly was able to glimpse into the alternate universe in which this was made in the late '90s and Gyllenhaal's character was played by Will Ferrell.

man that's just universally hilarious

😂
I’m a iPhone 15 pro max user and I have yet to set up Siri yet. So all this was new to me.
Kudos to jake for pedaling like crazy all while delivering his lines flawlessly here that some great commitment!
Not breaking is now considered an astonishing thing on SNL lol

It's about four minutes, roughly one song while on the elliptical.
@@Palidine4M0OPlus they had to remove that fake pooch!
Glad the camera pulled back at the end, so we could appreciate the stagecraft involved in the sketch
Ikr! Was thinking the same thing.
I had the same thought - kudos to the stage ninjas!
You had to see it to appreciate it?! So you thought all sketches were shot on location ? smh
Yeah.. that's quite impressive

You gotta respect this guy's text game, putting in appropriate commas and everything.
Jake Gyllenhaal really owned this ridiculous character. Goofy af, and I'm here for it. Lol.
he's great with the comedy, really plays opposite most all of his film roles XD

Jake looks good in anything tbh 😂
Loved Jake's belly sticking out 😂
3:33 It’s a “fat suit”. Looks like there’s a seam.
@@hippopotamusbosch I guess it's not real like Will Farrell's in "More Cowbelll"

Mine is fake too, serious face but not so serious face emoji.

With a naked chinese guy bihaind it's a beat gey yeap, hold on do Chinese people are gey
That’s high praise
Jim Carrey also comes to mind.
Seriously. This sketch reminded me of Jim Carrey's hot tub sketch from when he hosted SNL years ago.
I'm sorry, Lifeguard sketch.

Jake gained twenty pounds for this role.
Literally.

These skits suck.
Totally agree. I was really hoping that since it was the season finalé that they'd be at least funnier than an average mid episode. But alas 🤷🏽♂️
The prosthetic belly is funny
That's not prostetic
If it’s not prosthetic then he’s doing some serious puffing out considering how ripped he actually is.
@@BossBast1 Yes, it is.
I was thinking the same thing especially with the top riding uo over it 😂 Jake G has never had a belly like that in his life! 😂
So many bikers have the belly.
I feel like this sketch should return with Jake and Jon Hamm on a tandem bike!
😂😂😂😂

Jake managed to be more hilarious than these jokes and sketches provided
Agreed. Full 100% effort. His full engagement was the only thing that saved some of the sketches.
Great Skit, also loved the posing at the end, then the camera pulls back
“feeling dangerously unstable” and “what really happened to dad” - how is SNL summing up my life so well 😭
Jake is giving insane Jim Carrey vibes in this sketch and I'm loving it 😂😂

I gotta give it up for Jake. He's PUSHING in every sketch. BALLIN.
Next thing i need is Jake Gyllenhaal in comedy genre
Gyllenhaal and Bowen killed it! Hysterical!
So many great sketches this episode. Jake Gyllenhaal is brilliant!
Yeah, like last week, the whole show was very well written. Hilarious.
I loved Jake Gyllenhaal's acting here. Clearly speaking the texts with comma, period hahaha.
1:25 this triggered my stupid Siri somehow, my god, almost send eggplant emojis to my contact for no reason 😂
Hi google😊
Jake's bike shorts reminds me of Barbie. If you grew up in the early 90s playing with Barbies, then you know what I'm talking about.
*playing with?
Yeah, I kind of remember those too.
Yeah born in 83, by the time 90 came around we had this weird leftover neon clothing and neon everything surge. Wind breaker everything !!!! NEON!! 😂

The bike is a Cannondale Trail 8 Mountain Bike.
Been watching Jake G. through the years. Whatever character he takes on, the full commitment is there!
