Did this whole summer tour....fantastic from beginning to end with lots of surprises along the way...good times.
I was actually there at the show...feeling so blessed!🥰😜🙏
Thank you for posting up. Was there. Almost got my Mom’s Jeep Grand Wagoneer towed because I was selling tees before show in the lot without a permit. Was 19. The cops were super heavy at that show I remember. Put my tees away and went inside and all was forgotten. Thanks for the memories. ❤️👍🏼
Thank you for posting the whole show! My parents and I followed the Dead selling crystals on Shakedown Street. I traded some crystal necklaces to some guy for a ticket and talked my parents into going inside. I had already been to a hundred but this show was my first by myself (I was eleven). I had fun dancing with the spinners in the hallway. My favorite song that night was Throwing Stones!
My 100th show but I was 15.
I was here & it was awesome. I was a metal head at the time but loved the atmosphere. I learned the kind life with this tour. Made it to the rainbow gathering in Vermont too. Awesome times!!! Awesome road travelers!!
Holy Shit.....my first show right after graduating high school in Columbia, SC. Got back stage both nights the next year in Charlotte.
Mine Too!!!
Mine Too!!! - Just Graduated College.. Sold posters at these shows through the Meadowlands..unfortunate a deadhead was killed at the campgrounds at Carowinds second night...UGH!
@@karmenpiland4634 Yeah, I remember hearing about that. Everyone we knew was staying at a campground that was just across the line into South Carolina. We all figured since anything & everything was a felony in NC, that we'd hang out there as little as possible. Although we heard about the guy dying, we never heard any details about what happened.
Mine too ! I was an exchange student in Mount Olive ,NC and went there the night before graduation with two dudes from school and our Spanish teacher who was about 23 around that time. Great time and suicidal way back after a gallon of burbon and weed , got to see them a few times more during college , the last time also in Charlotte with an Unbroken Chain bonus . How I miss that , also jgb a few times , a pity didn't see any shows with Brent 😢
No matter what you think of this era of the Dead 1991 is up there with some of the best years. very few duds and killer shows night after night. I was at these shows and the RFK and Giants Stadium and there wasn't a bad night in the bunch. I'm amazed at how many good shows from the spring, summer and fall tours there were this year.
The Sound of '91 as I call it was like nothing else. Absolute 🔥. I'm enjoying the 30th anniversary of those shows all spring, summer and fall.
@@matthewconnors1011 It was multi-layered, orchestral.
My First Show WHOO HOO!!!!

This was my first show was dropped off by my mom, my first time meeting Lucy, ate my first hippie grill cheese in the parking lot, hung out with Carrot Top...When The Queen City was kind 💙🌈
I sat behind Carrot Top at a Neil Young show in 1996 in Virginia
