Vaporkid, You haven't posted any new videos in years. I hope that you are still on this physical plane with us, but if you are not, Thank you for having shared your knowledge, and the Truth about the greed and the malice of Big Oil and Big Auto. Your work and your words enlighten us and remain with us, whether or not you are still here with us.
I might have a cxouple of suggestions that will improve your setup. My brother and his friend made a headgasket with four sets of platinum points equally mounted around the cylinder. It was layered in between the gasket material like a circuit board. So instead of firing from the spark plug it fired from each set of points. The platinum points had no place to hold any carbon build up so would not foul out like a spark plug. and firing the gas mixture with four sets of spark burned the fuel vapor quicker and more completely.(old airplanes had two sparkplugs per cylinder) Giving an increase of power with less fuel consumtion and less emissions. My idea to add to this is to reduce fuel droplet size thus increasing surface area of the fuel by using an ultrasonic mister which instantly vaporizes a drop of liquid to a finer mist than a carburator is capable of. This should also increase power while decreasing consumption andEmmisions. The reason you do not see this gasket method of spark on the market now is a sparkplug company bought their patent. Their was a drawback to the design they had not worked out at the time and that was that the gasket was thicker and you had to torque it down just right or it would blow the gasket. But this was 40 years ago and we have much better materials to work with now. I really hope you read this or anyone else . It could be an easy add on for cars well worth the cost for the increased economy and decrease of emmisions. Hopefully give a little more time for the transition to the totally electric cars that are coming. Jake The Snake Was interested in the gasket for his race cars as it would have been a huge advantage. So if you need an investor you might want to try him. It also goes to show how money trumps humanityand that big corporations (Firestone) are more concerned with the bottom line than reducing polution to save mankind. We really need to institute a crimes against humanity law for people like that and Big Pharma who suppress or overprice discoveries that benefit life.. Please send a comment should you read this. I like to think I am at least trying yo help.
Research Nay Box. Very similar to the ammo box but you may find it superior. Would just be more complicated to build. The Nay Box has been proven. Vaporkid, cool setup. Put your engine coolant in the box with a false floor. Secure the wick pads to the sides of the by making frames to hold the wick material. Use something for spacers to space the wicking panels. Start with a few wick panels and add more as needed for your application. Pull the air in and out at 3/4 height. It would be a good idea to put a flashback door in line, kind of like dryer vent to the outside of a home. The dryer vent keeps outside air outside. Also search Loren Naylor for his carburetor. Him and his son Kelly worked on a carburetor that used vapor. There are/were many successful systems in the past. Just can't buy off the shelf. My 2 cents worth. Great job Vaporkid.
Thank you so much Vaporkid! I can't wait to see it installed and the results that you'll get! I myself can't wait to install it! :) I'll need to do some shopping for the materials and find some time in my schedule here shortly; so I'm sure you'll finish first. Once again: thank you so much....
a one-way valve for a blow back to stop it from going into the pressure tank would be smart and a wastegate to vent the pressure in the event of a blowback kind of like a turbocharger
I wouldn't increase the tube size so drastically. Fuel vapor is still too rich for efficient burn. You must have a way to control the amount of fuel vapor in the fuel/air mixture. Perhaps if you added a small amount of HHO you could get a more complete burn on the gas vapor. You will need to have a way to balance the mixture under changing loads and requirements.
I have been trying to figure out how to use the pressure pulse from a Briggs valve cover outlet, to pump fuel to the top of the wick. Evinrude outboards (15 HP) have a small pulse driven fuel pump, and the head of pressure can be a couple of feet. Do you have a backfire preventer on your torch? There is oxygen and fuel vapor in that can, all the makings for a big bang. How do you prevent combustion from traveling the hose into the tank?
Looks great try to put PVC through the top of your ammo can and into the bottom then attach a white sock on the PVC if you need more add another. I was wondering what the ratio of air to gas vapor is its one to one on wood smoke
so cool reminds me of a bees honey cone, why not place the wicks in the same why as bee keeps place them in the hiv. and afloat valve to top the fuel as it is used.
it will work on any gasoline engine, but make sure that you run a big enelf tube coming from the box to the air breather box, at least 2 inch, other wise you,ll starve the engine for air, that one way you can hook it up, the other way i will be useing will be to pressure rise it and hook in to my fuel rail.

Compressing air vapor mixture is perfect, thanks for sharing this with us.

Go get em, I'm 100% behind you, with many thanks. guys like you are going to free us from big oil and clean up the environment as well !

DO not be surprised that a tank has thicker metal where the treads are cut. Bet you the rest of the tank is thinner. Nice work fella

Thank you for the great tips and recommendations !
I'm excited to see how it goes!

VAPORKID ,YOURE PURE GENIUS !!!

AWESOME 👏
Hi did you ever get to run your truck of compressed vapour.
SMART IDEA ,WE USE THEM ON OUR TORCHES ,SMALL BALL CHECK VALVE IS ALL IT IS FUEL FLOWS ONLY ONE WAY !
Looks great try to put PVC through the top of your ammo can and into the bottom then attach a white sock on the PVC if you need more add another. I was wondering what the ratio of air to gas vapor is its one to one on wood smoke
putting pvc ont he bottom would just turn it into a bubbler would be less efficient
the reason why the gasoline liquid gets cold it is refrigerant when it boils off it is absorbs heat just like an evaporator in an air conditioner
Thanks for sharing!
I was thinking medical gauze for a wick it is absorbent and air can flow through it easy
What sort of compressor are you using?
I assume you are compressing an air vapor mixture, is this correct?
yes
Dam kid your really on to something
why does the gas vapor not return to a liquid when you compress it? even water vapor returns to water when you put it under pressure.
so cool reminds me of a bees honey cone, why not place the wicks in the same why as bee keeps place them in the hiv. and afloat valve to top the fuel as it is used.
This is exciting, I don't know much about this, will the system you build for your truck work on an 03 Silverado 4.8L?
it will work on any gasoline engine, but make sure that you run a big enelf tube coming from the box to the air breather box, at least 2 inch, other wise you,ll starve the engine for air, that one way you can hook it up, the other way i will be useing will be to pressure rise it and hook in to my fuel rail.
TheVaporkid The pressure system is the one I am interested in, I would think that would be a much better solution don't you?
Bill Oldaker i would use that to, being it is pressure rising the fuel rail, once i put pressure on the fuel rail i will pull out the fuel pump relay.
TheVaporkid also with pressure on the rail, you can just use a 3/8 id line for that when collecting the fumes
TheVaporkid Thanks for the quick reply, I think I will start gathering parts hope you get yours working soon, a video will really help.
did it run your truck?
VaporKid ? Why not use, a one way valve with a inline fuel filter with a metal intake pipe so it can stay hot until it reaches the intake.
on your ammo can you can make a pressure relief valve they use them on HHO bubblers they making out of PVC you could make it out of copper
how about use that gasoline vapor in oxy-fuel cutting torch to oxy gasoline cutting torch?'!
i think you use old fuel filter paper from cars? ask your local garage for them.
