@@harryrogers Hi, I want to make a saddle for my daughter but I can’t find any one in Australia I can not purchase a saddle tree can you recommend anyone in USA u need some help Thanks Michael
Thanks for this video. I had never considered using the groover on one side, then punching the stitching holes, and then using the groover on the other side! I have always been grooving both sides before punching the holes, I will be trying your method from now on! I had also never considered stitching the part of the belt closest to the tip for decorative purposes, I really like the contrast it creates!
Oh my goodness!! What beautiful work. I always wondered how this was done, and I have to say your attention to detail is superb. Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoyed it.
Very helpful film. I missed seeing how the keeper loop was put together. I assumed it was done with the same kind of rivet you used for the belt itself. But just thought I'd ask, so as not to assume.
Nice video Harry, I have also seen one of your bag making videos, it's a shame I didn't see it sooner as we have just bought an expensive branded satchel for a friend but it's not a patch on the designs of your bags. Maybe next year. Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to you.
Hi Harry, another great clip, I always give your clips a run through before making similar products - like your style. Why not cut the point before grooving using a guide - understand why you do it for the other end however?
